Bartimeus
Bartimeus was the blind man healed by Jesus. He was from Jericho and the son of Timeus. Bartimeus sat by the wayside at Jericho, begging as our Lord went out of the city on his last journey to Jerusalem. Hearing that Jesus was passing, he cried for mercy, and in answer to his faith, he was miraculously cured, and "followed Jesus in the way." There were two healed there.
