Has it ever occurred to you to dwell on the beautiful symbolism of the dove? It represents the Holy Spirit in Christian symbolism, not only because the Holy Spirit appeared to descend on Jesus at His baptism or that the return of the dove to Noah symbolized the return of the Holy Spirit to the new world, but the dove was a type of home. The one bird who did not wander from home, but loved home.
