Time of Ripening

Mona McReynolds

You are My fruit....sprung from the planting of the Lord. You cannot initiate your own sprouting....that comes from the Vine. I AM the Vine and therefore your source. All that you are originates and flows from Me. Apart from Me you can do nothing. Yes, you move in the natural and carry out those things that pertain to life in this world where I have placed you. But the sap and source of your inner life and fruitfulness originate and flow from Me. It flows constantly, steadily, and every moment working in you My will and good pleasure. Your life is hidden in mine...you are in and of the Vine.

There is a time of ripening of all fruit. As in the natural, there is first the bud, then the flower, then the fruit. At first the fruit is barely visible.... it is small but grows and ripens into a fully grown fruit ready for picking and providing nourishment. Fruit is made for the sole purpose of nourishing and bring forth more life. You see this in the natural when the fruit falls from the tree. Birds, humans, worms, animals and the earth are all nourished by its substance. The seed is left and is that part that goes back into the ground and begins the cycle all over again. Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it brings for more fruit. Is this not one of MY ways?

I bring forth good fruit from My children so that others are nourished and fed. But there is a ripening period for each new piece of fruit or (work of faith or ministry) in you. Each stage of the ripening process is important. Can you trust Me for that process? To know how long it takes to prepare every fruitful issue from you? Stay in the flow of my Life and trust Me to bring forth good things from within you as they become fully ripened. There is a season for every purpose under heaven....trust Me for all your seasons. !

Uprooting

Shirley Lise

I am pulling down a structure in this day that has exalted positions in the Body of Christ and has exalted those in these positions to great heights. I am pulling out the framework and the structure will come down. In its place I am raising up a structure built by My own hands. It gives no room for one to lord it over the next. Those who would lord it over others will be removed. They will not be a part of what I am building in this day. They will only look on and watch what I am doing. They will disqualify themselves, for I will tolerate the works of men no longer. Only that which is birthed of the Spirit will remain.

Great shall be the fall of those who exalt themselves in the midst of the congregation. Great shall be the trial of those who continue to raise up a cry of sympathy for the old structure. Great shall be the judgement that will come upon those who function in the fear of man. They shall be removed. They shall be uprooted and plucked out.

I am bringing in the poor, the lost, the wandering sheep without a shepherd and I will be their shepherd. They need not look to men to shepherd them, but they will look to Me, their faithful shepherd. I will feed them, nourish them, bless them, care for them, and instruct them. No one will be able to take credit for what I am doing. No man will receive the glory. I alone will be glorified.

Watch and see what I do in your midst. You will be in awe as you see the works of the Lord flowing forth through His sanctified vessels. There will be no opportunity to exalt the works of men, for every work of the flesh will be burned up. Every attempt to gain a position and a name will come to naught. Every form of idolatry will be removed from the midst of the people and a fragrant offering will rise up to the Lord.

You will see how I pour Myself out through you in ministry. You will see the lame walk, the deaf hear, and the blind see. You will see those who have walked in darkness come into the light. You will see that you have been called and ordained of the Father into ministry and that it is not a man-made position of authority, but that it is an authority given to you by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords to go into the world and make disciples. I have ordained you. Do not look to men to ordain you. Look to the Heavenly Father and He will equip you with every good gift to do the work of the ministry.

Refute every lie that is thrown at you. Cast away every rebuke given of men. Do not listen to their lies and deceptions. They have set a trap, a snare, and they are waiting for you to walk into it. Their motives are for gain. They are not concerned for the lost, for the strays. They are concerned for themselves, how they might prosper and make a name for themselves. I have stood by and watched them perform their religious acts. I have observed their lack of compassion, their hardness of heart, and I have waited and called them to turn from their wicked ways. I have extended My hands of healing to them and have offered them a way out of their transgressions. I have exercised mercy and compassion to a people who were quick to disregard what was offered them. Patiently I waited for them to turn their eyes off themselves and up to Me. I have called and called to them. I continually knocked at the door of their hearts. I did not forsaken them or leave them for even a moment. I strove with them, yearning for them to repent of their pride. Every opportunity had been given to these to see the light and to walk in it, yet they refused to go in the way that was shown to them. They chose over and over again to submit themselves to rules and regulations handed down to them by those whose teachings they sat under. They honored these who sat over them. They idolized their gifts of knowledge, their callings over and above the Giver of the gifts. Their eyes were upon each other and what each other could do, but they did not seek Me. They did not repent of their wicked ways and the judgement of God has come upon them. They are being removed from ministry and their ministries are being given over to others.

You will see the uprooting take place. Those who functioned in high position, those who exalted the efforts of men, will be removed from ministry and will no longer receive the glory they so earnestly desired. They have been a reproach to My word and have done much damage to the witness of the gospel and, in this day, I am cleaning up My bride. I am washing her and redressing her. I am taking off her blood-stained robes and replacing them with robes of righteousness. She shall walk with Me on streets of gold in the city I have prepared for her.

Vision Of the Hymen

Mary Lloyd

I was in prayer and I had a vision of the church represented by a house, and across the front door was stretched a membrane, like a virginal hymen. The hymen had been torn. Inside the house were numbers of people who moved about, as it were unaware of anything amiss, and they were all grey, as though they had been soiled. In contrast there were some who were in white and who were in corners hiding, refusing to take part in the soiling. The house represents the church. Unfortunately the house has been entered by some who have "crept in unawares" and have spoiled the virginal nature of the bride, the garments of the people inside were grey. They were walking about as though nothing had happened. It is distressing to me that there are these soiling influences which no-one seems to be taking any notice of. The two principal ones I am aware of at present are antichrist and jezebel, and their exposure is yielding a predictable response. I see antichrist operating in drawing the sheep to follow someone other than Jesus, and jezebel attempting to keep it that way, and silence anyone who challenges this. In keeping clean from these influences some action is required from all of us.

He Brings Us Out To Bring Us In

Ruth Johnson

Old directions and dreams must often die before God can bring us into His Promised Land for us. Deuteronomy 6:23 NAS refers to that spiritual principle: "He brought us out from there in order to bring us in, to give us the land which He had sworn to our fathers." Only when we yield to the "bringing out" can God then "bring us in".

While the old is ending, quite often the Lord does not let us know what the new thing is going to be. He does this so that our trust in Him is stretched and tested. Then, in His eternally planned timing for us, He reveals the details of where He is leading us. This process involves transition and change, both of which it is natural for us to heartily resist. The familiar is so much more comfortable, that we are tempted to cling to it, even if it isn't God's best for us. During the times when we struggle with letting go of the old, the Spirit of the Lord nudges us toward entering into the new. The following quote captures that wind of change when it blows across our life.

"Every now and then, into a life come whisperings that old riverbeds, as deep and natural as they may seem, are not necessarily the best riverbeds. Sometimes the flow must change direction for the sake of the future. The current must be reversed and redirected" (Author Unknown).

During those times when the flow of our life must change direction, the Lord is that still, small voice saying to us."Forget all that. It is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do a brand new thing. See, I have already begun" (Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT). What is most encouraging is that no matter how wonderful the place we are leaving behind happens to be, the place God wants to take us to next is always a better place, because it is where His plans for us can thrive.

Yet, if we resist change and stay in that old place, it will become one of barrenness and lack. Just like the Israelites, we must follow the glory cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night in our lives. When the Lord wants to take us in a different direction, we must move with Him. We must be willing to say, "Yes, Lord, have your way with me". Then there is nothing that can stop us from fulfilling His destined purpose for our lives.

What's Hindering You?

Doug Morrell

...flee from idolatry. (1 Cor. 10:14)

The term "idolatry" brings forth images from the Old Testament. Though some think of idols as material images, what really defines an idol is the place it occupies in our lives. Any person, thing, or desire that stands in the way of an immediate, wholehearted "Yes LORD!" to anything He asks of us is an idol and must be eliminated.

Idol worship was the major expression of religion in Corinth. There were several pagan temples in the city, and they were very popular. The statues of wood or stone were not evil in themselves, but people gave them credit for what only God could do, such as provide good weather, crops, and children. Idolatry is still a serious problem today, but it takes a different form. We don't put our trust in statues of wood and stone, but in paper money and plastic cards. Trusting anything or anyone for what God alone provides is idolatry. Our modern idols are those symbols of power, pleasure, or prestige that we so highly regard. When we understand contemporary parallels to idolatry, the Apostle Paul's words to "flee from idolatry" become much more meaningful.

We should consider ourselves dead and unresponsive to sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and greed. Just like diseased limbs of a tree, these practices must be cut off before they destroy us. We must make a conscious, daily decision to remove anything that supports or feeds these desires and to rely on the Holy Spirit's power.

We are to examine ourselves. One way to do this is to ask the question, "Is there anything in my life that is hindering my obedience to God?" If so, we are to take down any idol in our lives by humbling ourselves before God and by refusing other interests to rule our hearts.

Grow in grace and truth,

Be Encouraged Today

Kristin Reeg

Be encouraged today and know that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. Know that the promises of God are yes and amen. He has promised that He has already given us everything we need according to His riches and glory. If you've asked the Lord for something and you've seen Him give it to you: it is yours. It's a done deal. Praise Him despite what you see.

Soldiers of Christ arise and put your armor on! Move forward in this battle and take back what is yours! Believe in your heart and see in your mind that what the Lord has promised shall surely come to pass. Reject doubt. Reject deceit. Reject fear. Reject worry. Reject those and accept faith, hope and love.

Now is not the time to give up, but to gird up your loins and press on toward the goal which God has called you heavenward in Christ Jesus. The Lord began a good work in you and He will be faithful to complete it. Mustard seeds of faith be planted and grow. Grow strong and grow tall. Grow mighty in the Lord!

Angels of the Lord move on our behalf. Stop the enemy in his tracks so that the glory of the Lord may more brightly shine in us, His servants. Lay down your crowns with the 4 and 20 elders and sing to the Lord - holy holy holy is the Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come. He alone is the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end. Our God has led us to this place of trial - not to destroy us - but to build us up to be mighty warriors in His name and for His glory. He began it, He'll finish it. IT IS FINISHED!

A Good Place

Ras Robinson

I am bringing you into a good place. It will be a broad place and without contention. This is because I have granted great grace and wisdom unto you for this new season. But you must not let your heart faint in unbelief. The enemy has stolen from you again and again. But you have persisted and have not given up the fight. I have seen your heart and know that it is good. Now is the time to walk in and possess your possessions. You will need to do so with even greater faith than you have had. Ask of me and I will give you the faith. Have I not done this for you before? Yes, and I will do it again. Your inheritance is at stake. But you must take the initiative to build and re-build. For if I simply gave everything to you without your involvement you would not appreciate the victories nor would I receive the glory for keeping my hand upon you. There is a world watching you to see if your God is a deliverer and a blesser of his children or not. Now we must work together in the integrity of both our hearts. Be strong and very courageous. Beware of the lurking thief. Humble yourself and resist him. Cleanse your hands daily and purify your heart. Take your stand firmly and with great strength in me. I am bringing you into a good place.

He also brought me forth into a broad place; He rescued me, because He delighted in me. 2 Samuel 22:20

And he moved away from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it; so he named it Rehoboth, for he said, "At last the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land." Genesis 26:22
