You Are the Ones Whom I Have Chosen

Susan Cummings

You are different. You are Holy.
You have been called out of this world, and separated unto Me for My Own Possession. You are My Treasure and My Glory. You have nothing in common with the world, or the things in the world. You were created to live with Me, and unto Me, in the earth.

You were chosen by Me from the foundations of the world, and before I ever created. You have been in My Heart and Mind ever since. You have never been alone, or without Me. I have always existed and always will. Therefore My Word is still True. There is nothing that can separate you from Me, except you.

There is no man, woman, child, devil, or force that can ever take My Love from you, except you. You have My Eternal Spirit dwelling within you. You are without sin in My Eyes. For I see you through the Blood of My Son. You are My Beloved, whom is Mine forever. You cannot be called anything else, unless you choose to be. For I purchased you, and have redeemed you from all cords of sin and death at the Cross.

You are My Glorious Vessel through which I have chosen to live upon the earth. You have My Blood upon you and My Spirit within you. You are Holy unto Me. You breathe the breath that I breathed into you from the day of your birth. You contain My Presence and My Wisdom and know My Heart.

You will be My Chosen Ones through which I will reap My Harvest in this last hour. You will be the containers through which My Creative Miracle Working Power will flow, and be seen in the nations. You are the spark that will ignite the fires of harvest. It is you, my child. You are the one, that I will use.

I have chosen the time and the place. I have decreed it. I will do it.

Walk with Me.

For I have already begun the work…..

Yield to My Cleansing Love

Mary Lloyd

Sitting still before God I could see a skeleton branch having grown forth from the body of the vine. As I watched, a fire purged it, cutting it away. There was pain and soreness. Then a promise, budding leaf, and new growth.

John 15: 1,2: I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

John 15:8-12: Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Dearly Beloved,

I have seen how much you want to love like I love. I have seen how far you have gone to reach those heights. Be not sorry for this pruning that checks the branch of the flesh. The pain will last but a moment, it will heal.

You have looked for evidence of the outworking of My love in your life as you have extended it to those around you. Are you now surprised that I would prune you that you be fruitful in this?

My love is not a flimsy thing that runs off at the first sign of pain: it is My investment in you who abide in Me, and it lasts into eternity. You are abiding in Me: then expect My purging, expect the pruning work that will make My love grow strong in you. See, it already happens. And it happens because you are abiding in Me: it is My work, because as you know, apart from Me you can do nothing. This love is tender and it is compassionate: but it is also awesome, and it is fearsome: a love that lays down its life.

As you are pressed in the hardness of your circumstances, so you will see what I have done in you. Here is where also you will see how far you are falling short of My hope for you, and your love for Me will cause you to yield, and be changed.

Be not distracted by things that would entice you to prove yourself, bypassing this central work. Unless you pay attention to the love I want you to have for others you will not abide in me. Love makes your religion real. Love gives it heart. Have you not heard that "God is Love"? And that by the love you show one to another, you shall be known as My disciples?

Then yield to Me beloved, and despise not the pain. The pain is for a moment: the glory eternal.

Yield and embrace the circumstances I send you:

They are messengers of My Cleansing Love and the promise to come of My Joy.

The Only Way To Live

Sandy Brunson

As we fully commit to the process of being changed into the same image and character of Jesus, we are then ready to "look unto Jesus" for the training process in the releasing of our individual gifts and callings. These are designed for the purpose of being released into the service of our Holy God - the One whom we serve, and whose Kingdom it is.

Ministry is simply the work of a servant. A minister is one who serves God and His people with the gifts and through the calling he or she is given by God.

Worshipping our God in Spirit and in Truth is a prerequisite to appropriately representing Him in service. We are called to serve only under His Banner, and that requires that we continually look unto Him, serve by His same Spirit, and walk in His grace and truth in all that we are...in all that we do. We dare not misrepresent Him with our service by reaching out in a disorderly or impure manner apart from His authority.

We are called to embody and reflect the love of God, for it is by this that the world knows that we are God's people. God's love matured in us, His humility displayed through us, His holiness and righteous nature demonstrated, and His compassion flowing from us are the tangible signs that reveal if we are truly walking in His footsteps.

God's ways are higher than our ways. He has revealed that His way for disciples is sequential step-by-step development, "line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little," (Isaiah 28:10). He has called us to "come unto Him," (Matthew 11:28-29) and "learn of Him". His promise for those who will actually trust and obey Him is one of rest, peace, and righteousness.

Progressive growth calls for a willingness to continually examine ourselves to see if we have allowed any sin to remain, or creep into our attitudes and behaviors. When temptations and actions of sin take root, they bring destruction to the healthy growth process in our spiritual lives.

We must continually be washed by the water of the Word of God, cleaning out any roots of works of the flesh. We are exhorted to be on guard against such in Galatians 5:19-21. This is imperative for the growing disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, for this same passage states: "That those who practice such things (works of the flesh) will not inherit the kingdom of God!"

The Word of God can be depended upon to "say what it means, and mean what it says." We are to take heed to these strong words of exhortation in the honest and diligent fear of the Lord. A very important part of growing in Christ Jesus is a willingness to yield our lives, daily, to the application of His Truth.

Our very lives...our attitudes, thoughts, and behaviors, must be held accountable to Him and His Word. We must humbly yield ourselves to a progressive process that is designed to grow us up into "a perfect, (mature) man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ," for that is exactly what His Word expresses for us in Ephesians 4:13.

Obedience to the Christian growth process is not an option for the disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ
...it is the only way of life!

Looking unto Jesus,

Desperate for More of God

Shirley Craft

Over these past days the Lord has been speaking to me regarding being desperate for Him. He said, "You have been saying in your prayers that you are desperate for Me? He then said, "How desperate are you for Me?" I responded with a safe answer, "Lord you know." But that's not what He wanted to hear, for He does know. He challenged me to consider how desperate was I for Him. I pondered His question for a while and then responded to Him, "I was in a desperate condition and that without Him in my life I was even more desperate then I could stand." He agreed with my response, but He wanted to drive the point home into my heart.

And I feel this word is not just for me but for the body of Christ as well. Are we truly desperate for God? Do we recognize if we are? I mean down deep in our spirit-man.

The Lord is saying: "Are you desperate enough for Me to abandon yourself to Me? Are you desperate enough to pick up your cross and follow Me regardless of the outcome? Are you desperate enough to labor in the great harvest for souls for My kingdom?"

These are challenging questions that the Lord is asking His people to consider in this hour in history. The Lord reminded me of some of the desperate people in the Bible. Just to name a few: king Asa when the Cushites marched against Israel. Asa called out to the Lord for help for the Cushites were too great for them to fight, and God responded to his prayer. Daniel prayed and fasted and repented for 21 days, and God responded by sending His angel to bring the answer to his petitions. The disciples in the boat on the stormy waters of Galilee cried out for Jesus to save them lest they perish. And the 120 believers in the upper room were desperate for God, for Jesus had just been taken up into heaven.

The Lord is saying, "I allow My people to come into that place of desperation." it may be the circumstances surrounding us at this time that makes us desperate. For only desperate people do desperate things, desperate exploits. To be desperate is an extreme condition requiring an extreme response. To be desperate for God is being totally sold out to Him. God is ready to respond to our prayers. However, He is asking us to consider what it means to be desperate for Him. He is saying that it will cost us much and we need to count the cost.

Restoration

Ras Robinson

God is showing me someone standing alone having the feeling of being cut off. Many friends have cut you off for some positions you have taken. Others have cut you off because they simply do not like you anymore. A few have cut you off because they have come to judge you and to speak evil against you. This has hurt you to the bone. Your heart is broken and crushed. And yet you feel that your integrity with Me is secure. Now let me say this unto you: do not seek after the flesh or the laws that you cannot keep to restore yourself. Remember that love is the most powerful force at your disposal. And because you love so deeply you will begin to pray and see the restoration you seek. Only do not resort to the works of the law to gain approval of man. My grace is more than enough for restoration to come to you. Again I say, pray and see My hand move in marvelous ways. Do not seek after the flesh to restore yourself.

Galatians 5:4 Christ is useless to you if you are counting on clearing your debt to God by keeping those laws; you are lost from God's grace.

A part of your heart is becoming darkened. Your heart is troubled and the pain is too much to bear at times. Little by little you have slipped away from intimacy with Me. It did not happen suddenly. An unplowed field does not erode in a day. I tell you now that you are not intended to be a fallow ground. Your time of harvest will come if you remain faithful to the core things I have taught you. Refuse to slip away. You can return to me in a day. Why not today? But you must repent of your errant ways before more distance grows between us. I say all this as a Father who loves you and desires to pour upon you more and more grace. Humble yourself. Put on sackcloth and ashes for your sins and for the sins of both your fathers before you and for the sin of your day in this world. Be a quick repenter. A part of your heart is becoming darkened.

Psalm 9:9-10 The Lord also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble, and those who know Thy name will put their trust in Thee; for Thou, O Lord, hast not forsaken those who seek Thee.

The Victory Is Ours

Musa Opiyo

I am still God, the same, yesterday, today and forever. I have a plan and purpose for you. Don't give up the fight. For yes you were called to war, not according to the flesh, but allowing Me to step in and fight the battle for you. Keep all your armor close by you, and advance. Take the battle to the enemy, and watch as devils scurry before you with tails between legs.

I have given you all power, all authority over the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Even what the enemy does is what I allow, but know that he has to get passed Me in order to get to you. You have great faith to believe in My power, miracles and workings in the lives of others, yet you do not believe that I would do the same for you. I am no respecter of persons. I did not die and suffer the pain of the cross and rise again for a chosen few but to whosoever shall call upon My name.

So today, call upon Me. Believe Me for that which you know I have promised you. Remember that I am for you and not against you. Remember that I have not called and brought you this far to quit, but to be victorious.

Rejoice, for the victory is ours, says your Lord and King.
