TEARS OF FIRE
by Holly L. Moody

Not too long ago, the Lord showed me in a vision men of God (pastors, preachers, priests, rabbis, etc.) coming from behind their podiums and walking down from their platforms, and falling on their faces. These men of God began to weep and to groan in their spirits. I heard only the words, "Father, forgive us !!!"

As the men of God continued to weep on their faces before the Lord, I watched and saw as their tears began to flow towards an altar. As the tears continued to flow towards an altar, their tears became as small flames of fire. When the small flames of fire touched the altar, smoke began to ascend from the altar. At first, the smoke was very thick. It was as if I could actually smell the smoke, and was inhaling it, and was being suffocated by it.

Then, I noticed as flames began to shoot up from the altar, and the smoke began to lessen. The brighter and fiercer the fire began to burn, the more the smoke diminished. Finally, there was a strong fire burning on this altar.

The men of God continued to weep. Their tears continued to flow unto the altar, and change into small flames of fire. As I continued to watch this scene, the tears seemed to overflow the altar, and flow outwards into the churches and beyond. As these tears flowed through the churches, and beyond the doors of the churches, they touched upon people. These people also fell on their faces, and began to weep before the Lord. The same thing began to happen to their tears also ~~ becoming small flames of fire, and overflowing the altar and sweeping outwards and beyond the doors of the churches.

*************************

For days, I thought upon this short vision and tried to understand its significance.

I began to read and receive prophecies of judgment against America, against churches, against people. And I was troubled by this. I felt a confirmation of all these things in my spirit, but still I was troubled. For I didn't desire to see God's judgment, but His mercy, fall.

"What will with hold Your judgment, Lord?" I prayed.

"Repentance," the Lord replied. "When the tears of true repentance are wept from a heart that is broken before Me, only then will the fires of revival begin to burn. And only then will the fierceness of My wrath be averted. This repentance must begin in My house, with the spiritual leaders. When the leaders are right before Me, the people will be."

******************************

I don't believe prophecies of coming doom and judgment have to come to pass.

Jeremiah 18:7-8 says, "At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it; If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them."

The story of Jonah preaching judgment to the city of Nineveh is also another good example. (Jonah 3:10 ~~ "And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.")

This act of mercy on the Lord's part towards Nineveh was extremely displeasing to Jonah. Maybe he felt that since he had preached judgment, and it didn't come to pass, this made him appear to be a false prophet.

There are those right now prophesying judgment. I don't doubt for a moment that they are hearing from the Lord. But instead of praying for this judgment to come to pass, I myself am praying the Lord for mercy, and for a spirit of repentance to come upon His men of God, and upon His people. I am praying for intercessors to stand in the gap between those who need to repent and between the Lord's wrath falling upon them. And when / if this mercy is extended, these prophets should not be accused of being false prophets. They indeed heard from the Lord, and delivered His warning. It was the heeding of the warning by those who heard and listened and obeyed that averted God's judgment from falling.

Between the tears and the fire, there is first a smoke. The smoke can appear very threatening at first. It is attesting to the fact that something is being changed, and change is always traumatic. If we can endure through the tears becoming smoke, we will see the smoke as it becomes fire.

Please consider prayerfully the following verses of scripture. The responsibility they convey to intercessors is heavy on my heart.

Ezekiel 22:30-31 ~~ "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it : but I found none. Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord God."

There will indeed be a fire. The fire of God's wrath, or the fire of revival fueled by the tears of repentance. I think we will all choose which fire that may be.

If we secretly desire God's judgment to fall, we will forbear standing in the gap. If, however, it is God's mercy we desire to see fall, we will weep tears of repentance before Him, and stand in the gap for those against whom He has pronounced His coming judgment.

Will you stand in the gap for repentance and revival, or will you stand aside to silently allow God's judgment and the fire of His wrath to fall? As I look into my own heart and examine my own motives and intents, I have to ask myself the question, "How am I standing?"

In Him,

Fiery Eyes and River of Tears

Diane Soucie

I just returned from a time of group intercession. During the time we had our usual 'soak' in His presence for about 45 minutes. during the end of the prayer time I still felt that deep longing in my gut that there was so much more, sooooo dry. As I pressed in I began to weep and perceive seeing the face of God. As I looked at His eyes, I saw fire and out of his eyes rivers. The rivers were tears. The tears flowed to streams, which flowed to rivers. Some people were getting in the water but others were reluctant. I felt the Lord calling His bride with deep intimacy, not to be afraid of the fiery eyes because they are eyes of passion that we no not of. The verse that came to mind is ps 63. my soul longs for you I thirst for you in a dry and weary land where there is no water. The call from the Lord is getting stronger. The discipline of intimacy is harder to hang on to. It seems like a battle. The river of tears are also from he intercessors that weep for the lost. For the prodigal. For the fearful. For the despondent. Weeping for the bride to make herself ready for her bridegroom. The passion is increasing. The time is so short and so many things are changing. We must remain close the Him in order to receive our instructions. For now the instructions are abide. Rest. Spend time with the bridegroom. Submitted humbly by Diane Soucie

THE THRESHOLD
Ros Henderson-Hobson
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, it is with great trepidation that I come to you with this message. First of all, it is my desire that you all growing and establishing yourselves in the Lord. It is of great importance that each one of us keeps our eyes solely fixed upon the Lord, and be ever ready for his return.

It is my solemn belief, that we are on the very threshold of many significant changes, that will soon take place upon this earth. I believe there is a divine command going out across the nations from the Lord for believers to repent and return to their first love ! The Lord Jesus Christ !

Repentance must begin and take root in the heart of every believer ! It is time to fast and weep before the Lord for our sins, and the sins of our nations. It is time to lay aside the works of man, and replace them with the solid foundation of the gospel of truth

It is time to put aside common disputes and issues that keep us away from the divine commission given to us from the Lord. It is time to build and restore the church in preparation for the coming days ahead.

Have no doubt about this fact, each one of us will at some point have to make a stand for the Lord, not just to other believers but to the world for the testimony we bare witness too ! Some of us may even face death for our faith in Jesus Christ.

We have entered into a time, when the love of the comon body has waxed cold, because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity.

It has been said that revival is coming ! and Yes I believe this is true, but before the revival time, there shall be a time of refinement. This I know from the Lord to be true ! A time of great testing will soon be upon us ! A time of purging and cleansing !

Have no doubt about this for with a surety I know that as the sun rises and goes down faithfully each day, I know from the depth of my heart we draw ever closer towards perilous and troublesome times.

The Lord has sped up time, and the seasons are passing by faster than ever before. We will see many significant weather changes, for the times that we live in are forecasting the coming storms ahead.

The nations are beginning to stir and rise up, to face the battles that lay shortly ahead. Like storm driven waves, they will surge up upon each others lands.

The valley of Jehoshaphat will soon be upon us, many will be in the valley of decision ! To whom will you give your authority to ? There is a time coming when many will stumble and fall away from their faith in Jesus Christ ! It is of utmost importance that each one of you ground and entrench yourselves firmly in the word, so that when the storms and floods come, you shall not be swept away.

So let us prepare ahead while there is still time ! let us be united and bonded in the love of Christ, which is so freely bestowed upon us ! Let us remain united in faith and hope ! and rejoice in the precious gift of eternal salvation, and let us not forget, the great sacrifice and penalty Jesus paid for us when he went to the cross for our sins !

Let us be ever ready and faithful to defend the faith that is established and rooted in our hearts ! and let no man steel or plunder the word that has been sown and made alive in us !

And let the eyes of our understanding be opened to the truth of Gods word

God Bless

Graham to "pass the torch"

Ten thousand itinerant evangelists are arriving in Amsterdam, Netherlands, for the largest conference on evangelism in history. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is hosting Amsterdam 2000 July 29-Aug. 6.

...People from 190 nations are attending the event, billed as the passing of the torch to the next generation, according to the BGEA. Billy Graham convened the conference to help prepare a new wave of evangelists to carry the message of Christ into the 21st century.

..."I don't need a successor, only willing hands to accept the torch that I have been carrying, those who will present the gospel to a new generation," Graham said. "I am convinced that at this crucial time in history, we evangelists need to have our vision lifted and our tools sharpened in a fresh way."

...Graham plans to open the event by satellite from Rochester, Minn., rather than in person in Amsterdam. He is an outpatient at the Mayo Clinic, where he received treatments for a buildup of fluid around his brain in June, and doctors monitoring his recovery advised him to remain under their care for three to four more weeks, the BGEA said.

..."I am disappointed at this turn of events, but I have great peace that this is God's plan for me and for the Amsterdam 2000 Conference," Graham said. The satellite link will allow him to interact and participate in the event, the BGEA said.

...The conference is the largest evangelistic training event ever held, according to the BGEA, which hosted similar gatherings in Amsterdam in 1983 and 1986. Evangelists will convene at the RAI International Exhibition and Congress Centre for preaching, teaching, and networking. About 75 percent of them are from developing nations and received BGEA funding to help make the trip.

...The BGEA said it has invested $35 million in Amsterdam 2000. Plenary sessions will be translated into 25 languages and participants will use headsets to hear simultaneous translations. Hundreds of workshops will be presented and most will be translated into several languages.

...The Jaarbeurs Congress Centre, Utrecht, has been converted into a dormitory for more than 7,000 evangelists. The BGEA installed 10,512 square meters of carpet, 3,500 sets of bunk beds, 289 toilets, and 432 portable showers.

...More than 115,000 people in 85 countries are praying for the event and for each participant, the BGEA said. About 700 volunteers from 44 nations will be on hand to wash bedsheets, prepare meals, and serve communion to the participants. Franklin Graham's Samaritan Purse will operate two onsite medical clinics.

...The daily schedule is packed with teaching and inspirational meetings. Morning sessions on evangelism will feature world-renowned Christian leaders, including Anne Graham Lotz, Campus Crusade's Bill Bright, English evangelist and Bible teacher John Stott, Reformed theologian J.I. Packer, and international evangelist Luis Palau. Late morning seminars will cover practical issues of evangelistic ministry, such as how to prepare and present an evangelistic message.

...In the afternoon, participants can choose from hundreds of workshops, including strategies for reaching men, women, and youth with the gospel; use of music and film in evangelistic ministry; the importance of maintaining a strong family; and how to manage finances. Evening meetings will feature inspirational messages by Franklin Graham, Christian apologist Ravi Zacharias, Anglican leader George Carey, African Enterprise's Antoine Rutayisire, and Hong Kong-based evangelical leader Philimon Choi.

TRUE REST
by Doug Fortune

"There remaineth therefore a REST to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath CEASED from his OWN WORKS..."(Heb.4:9-10).

Rest!... now that's something we could all use more of! We lead such busy and hectic lives and the whole world seems to be speeding up... we dream of sitting back and putting our feet up and doing NOTHING! Or perhaps we're more 'spiritual' about it, and we long for hours just to sit and listen to worship music or just sit and be quiet before God. Now I'm NOT saying there's anything wrong with these things AT ALL!... but I want to challenge our mentality a little here.

I recently heard a message where the speaker was stressing the importance of getting away from everything and spending much time alone with God so we can accurately hear His voice and commune with Him... I personally happen to be one whose schedule allows this, so I'm certainly not against it. Unfortunately this presents a standard of spirituality that very few can enter into. As I listened to the message, my first thought was 'what about my wife?'... how does a homeschooling mother of four children, ranging in age from 13 to 4 have this opportunity? If that really IS what defines spirituality, then we have just eliminated the majority of the population! And is Christianity really intended to produce a mindset that promotes an ESCAPE from the world? I know we make much of it, and I've heard many sermons on Jesus' leaving the crowds and going to be alone in prayer, but in reality it is only mentioned a very FEW times in Scripture. Now, am I saying we should NOT spend time in our prayer closet?... NO, but I AM saying our spirituality must come OUT of the closet also. He has designed us to be able to hear Him and commune with him in the MIDST of the involvements of everyday living. The world needs a Christianity that can change a diaper or fix the plumbing with one hand and heal the sick with the other hand! Our Christianity is not really defined in the prayer closet (although that IS important), it is defined in the involvement of everyday living. True REST does not necessarily equate with inactivity... in fact, I believe it is quite the opposite. REST is ceasing from OUR WORKS and doing the works of the Father. Jesus' prayer life did not consist of the few times we read of Him going off by Himself, it consisted of an EVERYDAY walk of communion and oneness with the Father in the MIDST of a very busy ministry! The word translated REST in verse 9 of Heb. 4 is sabbatismos, it is of Hebrew origin speaking of the Sabbath, the primary idea being a day consecrated and set apart for God. THAT is what we are to be entering into - being totally consecrated and set apart for God; a temple in which He can dwell and manifest Himself continually. This is the dawning of the SEVENTH prophetic millennial DAY, and God is calling us into His Sabbath REST because there is MUCH to be done as the kingdoms of this world are become the Kingdom of the Lord and His Christ.

Our mentalities must change... no longer is it the season of journey up the Mountain like Moses and bring the glory back to the people, only to have it fade. This is what has happened with many revivals... people start to pray, revival breaks out, after awhile it fades. This is what happens with many weekly church services... Sunday we climb the mountain and it's awesome, by midweek we're definitely needing a boost and by the end of the week the glory has all but disappeared... this is really quite backwards.

Heb. 12:18, 22-23 tells us, "...you have NOT come to a material mountain that can be touched (Sinai is the reference here)... rather, you have approached unto Mount Zion, the city of the Living God, the heavenly Jerusalem... to the Church of the First-born...". Now who is the church of the First-born; who is the heavenly Jerusalem (the Bride - Rev.21:9-10); who is Mount Zion?... WE ARE! The mountain is the Rock or Mountain of the revelation knowledge of the Christ that Peter spoke of when he said 'Thou art the Christ'; it is the REVEALation of Jesus Christ IN US. Paul is saying that we no longer must climb the Mountain like Moses, the Mountain is IN US. We are living stones becoming a Mountain that will fill the whole earth (Dan.2:35). Now in Mark 11:22-23 I believe Jesus makes a prophetic proclamation as He says, "...have FAITH in God... whomsoever shall say to this MOUNTAIN, Be thou removed and be thou cast into the SEA, and shall NOT DOUBT in his heart, but shall BELIEVE that those things that he saith shall come to pass, he SHALL have whatsoever he saith.". Now keep in mind that the SEA is symbolic of people and nations; hopefully I haven't lost you in the thought progression here, stick with me. The Mountain which is the REVEALation of Jesus Christ which is IN US and which IS US is being cast into the SEA/ people, and nations... the revelation knowledge of the glory of Christ is filling the earth as the WATERS (rivers of Living waters flowing out of US) cover the SEA (people and nations).

Now remember as we just read Jesus said in Mark 11:23 that in order for the Mountain to be cast into the sea we must BELIEVE and NOT DOUBT... and what is it also that keeps us from entering into His REST according to Heb. 4:11?...UNBELIEF! Heb.4:3 tells us that "...for we who have BELIEVED do enter into the REST... His works had been completed and prepared and waiting for all who would BELIEVE from the foundation of the world....". Did you catch that?... His works have been completed since the foundation of the world! The true sabbath REST of God is ceasing from our OWN WORKS and allowing Him to cast the Mountain into the SEA, to fill the earth with the revelation knowledge of the glory of God through US! This REST is NOT inactivity or a type of escape from the world; it is an ACTIVE invading and occupying in the military sense. Heb.4:11 tells us to "Let us therefore be zealous and exert ourselves and strive diligently to enter into that REST of God, that no one may fall or perish by the same kind of UNBELIEF and disobedience...". As we enter the true Sabbath REST of God we will experience incredible effectiveness in advancing the Kingdom of God in the earth. We cannot continue to have a prayer life that consists ONLY of getting alone with God... we must have a LIFE that is a Sabbath totally consecrated to the Father, a LIFE that is a continual prayer even if we are mowing the lawn or cooking a meal. Although she does not spend countless hours alone with God, my wife is one of the Godliest women I know.... she manifests Christ on a battlefield that I often fail in - the home life of a large family, (not that our home is a battlefield, it is a haven that the enemy would like to destroy). The REVEALAtion and manifestation of Christ IN US is the Mountain being cast into the SEA/ people and nations, and this must happen in the involvements of everyday living. Your occupation is not intended only to produce income for you, you are there to infiltrate the kingdom of (this world) your workplace, exercise your spiritual authority in that kingdom (remember, we are seated IN Christ, FAR ABOVE principalities and powers) and bring the Kingdom of God to bear upon that place... you change the spiritual atmosphere of your workplace! All this happens by our BELIEF that God will do what He said He will do; this doesn't necessarily mean you will stand up on the middle of the office or the factory and preach (unless God tells you to).

This is the REST that I am zealous to enter into! Let us press forward in this Seventh Day into the Sabbath REST of forcefully advancing the Kingdom of God in the earth!

Where Loss Becomes Gain

Bryan Hupperts

If there is any secret to successfully loving and serving God in this fallen world, it is this: finally letting go and trusting Him to be who and what He is on your behalf. What that means is learning to think and live as God thinks and lives. This often-crushing process runs totally contrary to natural thinking and the ways of this world.

In Christ, loss becomes gain. Crushing becomes the path to Glory. Willingly embracing a living Death becomes the path of Life. You begin to realize that God is as interested in your failures as He is in your successes. You begin to see others through the sacrifice of the Cross of Christ. Hebrews 12:2, "For the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, that you might above all know Him, the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His suffering" Embracing such knowledge involves a lot of dying.

Some time ago the Lord gave me a personal word regarding an impending blessing that would come into my life. As I prayed, I saw myself seated at a magnificent banquet Table filled with all sorts of good things. At this Table, the Lord Himself was seated at the head place and we were merrily feasting together. According to Revelation 3:20, I had heard the knocking of Christ on my heart and I obeyed and let Him in. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." That obedience finally brought me as His guest to His Table in the Wilderness to dine with Him.

In this vision, I saw people who had injured me, wronged me, and had intended evil in my life standing in a broad circle surrounding this Table being forced to endure watching me feast on the goodness of God. Psalms 23:5, "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over." At first it was kind of embarrassing watching so many people who had predicted failure for my life and ministry having to choke on their word. Slowly I began to rather enjoy God's favor.

I saw merriment and a twinkling in Jesus' eyes as we feasted together on the bounty of God. Meanwhile so many stood there with their awestruck mouths open in unbelieving wonder. Then the vision ended.

After enduring the greatest personal crushing of my life, God sovereignly freed me to love those who had injured me. As Joseph said of his brothers who had sold him into slavery, in Genesis 50:20, "You meant evil against me; but God meant it for good." I suddenly understood that Satan had asked permission to sift me like wheat and Father God allowed him to do so. Even more amazingly, it was a completely necessary step to bring me to the place of receiving God's blessing. I admit that I don't understand this but I choose simply to accept it.

The Scripture speaks of the "windows of heaven" that God will open to bless His people. The idea is drawn from a culture where the wealthy would sometimes open their upper windows and rain down handfuls of coins on the poor to bless them. During the night, I dreamed the window of heaven opened over my home and the sweet blessings of God began to rain down in a torrent!

I awoke from this remarkable dream rejoicing in the goodness of God when the vision from so many months ago abruptly resumed. Again I was seated at the Table in the Wilderness with Jesus. Again, we were feasting in front of many people who had hurt me or tried to injure me. Again, there was a joy in His continence and a merry twinkle in His eyes. Then I noticed for the first time that the Table we were seated at had many, many unoccupied chairs!

A verse spoke to my heart from Romans 12:20, "Therefore `If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.'" These coals represent the healing touch of God, not getting even by fighting fire with fire.

Suddenly, I felt the Lord look right into my naked soul and ask ever so sweetly: "Would you like to invite these who are watching us to come to My Table as My guests and feast with us?

With a surge of joy that only God can give, I said, "Yes, Lord!" My Loss has become Gain, my Crushing has become Glory, and that which was sown in sure death has been raised unto eternal Life!

Dinner is served.

HIS GREAT LOVE FOR YOU
by Bonnie Barbey

Many of us recently have been struggling. It is almost like we are in the birth canal somehow trying to get out, or in a cocoon trying to break free, or even some of us feel like we are trying to give birth to a breach baby who is not coming out till God Himself turns the child.

There have been many words from God sent out warning of us of this and telling us not to despair, but that His great deliverance is at hand and we are indeed being birthed into a whole new way of life; a life of victory, power, and total dependence upon Him. I have recently found myself crying out to God in the pain of this struggle that I am insignificant, no one special even to Him, that I am just one of billions of people He sees in a huge crowd.

Two days ago, God spoke to me about this and after reading again what He spoke, I realized that many of us need to hear this right now. I pray God's blessing upon you as you read the following. Bonnie Barbey

Child, the battle has intensified. Satan sees what I am about to do and is throwing everything he can at you. Rise up in the midst of it and laugh in his face. He cannot stop My hand from moving, from stretching forth and bringing new life, new power, new anointing, and new ministry. He cannot stop Me!

He is nothing compared to Me and has never been anything. He rose up, full of his own glory and thought himself God, but he never had a chance of winning. He only thought he did. He took many angels with him, but not through his power, but through deception.

It is the same today. His power is nothing to me. But he continues to gather by deception. Do not be deceived. Focus on My promises and call him a liar, a cheat, and a fraud, for that is who he is.

I am the God of all truth, the God who fulfills His promises, the Mighty And Awesome and Terrible God of Hosts, Lord of Heaven and Earth, Ruler of all that is. And know this. You feel small and insignificant and lost in a vast sea of people all of whom I love.

This is not how I see you. You are a precious stone, a priceless treasure, beloved and beyond replacement to Me. I do not see a vast ocean of people crying out to Me. I see you singly, hear you whisper, count your tears, watch your every movement, discern your thoughts. There is nothing about you hidden from Me.

I do not simply notice you once in a while. I am intimately involved in every moment of your life. You are not insignificant. You are not one among billions to Me! You are not a speck of dust or a grain of sand on the beach. I love you with an everlasting love, and I long for you with a consuming passion.

I guide your steps. I prepare your path. I light the way before you. I will never fail you. Put these words in your heart and meditate upon My great love for you. Sing My songs of unfailing love. Breathe in My love. Let it be your food, your drink. Before I formed you in your mother's womb I knew you and loved you, and I will love you for all eternity.

GIVE THEM JESUS

Pastor Conrad

Dear people of God:

Probably none of us can remember of a time of so many attacks on God's people as we are having these present days. As we begin to walk the last minutes of this "eleventh" hour the Evil One is gathering all his forces against the Church in an attempt to keep us back.

Each one of us probably has a story of some strange things happening lately. We have seen strange accidents -many of them involving children or teenagers- and some other unexplainable events. A short time ago a young lady in our church was driving by the freeway and unexplainably a blade got loose from a mower under the bridge and flew up over the bridge and hit her van right in front of her. The thing was stopped by the wheeldrive and hit her on the arm and not on the throat as it was going to. God protected her.

During the conference we held in Idaho we were under heavy attacks, even before it started. One of the scheduled speakers collapsed the night before and had to cancel. I myself had several medical problems the week before, like a big bad reaction to a shot I was given and also a fire in my house. During the services the drummer's baby daughter was taken to the hospital because she just stopped breathing!

In that moment God showed me clearly like a complete film how the whole scheme of the devil was being developed and that there was nothing else we could do but just apply the Blood. And that we did! THE BABY WAS BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE BY THE POWER OF THE BLOOD !!!

I am in no way giving glory to the devil stating these facts. His schemes have to be exposed. I just want to point to the real thing: this is the time when more than ever Revelation 12:11 "And they overcame him by the BLOOD OF THE LAMB and by the WORD of their testimony" has to be our pattern.

A GENERATIONAL ATTACK:

Satan is attacking both the generation of the present revival and the generation of the next revival. It is not by chance that teenagers are the target of Satan's most deadly weapons. He knows that God has told us that they are going to be the ushers of the next revival, and saddly enough the devil is more aware of -and pays more attention to- God's words than we are!

Those who are the leaders of this revival and those who -even though they are not yet involved directly in a revival- have revival in their hearts and are engaged in a desperate search for God's face are receiving the biggest deal of attacks. But what has to be of most concern to us is how he is aiming to our youth with all his hatred.

THE BLOOD AND THE WORD:

What we are trying to say is that we do not have any more time to loose. It is the time to plainly, boldly apply the Blood of the Lamb and speak the Word of God. No more of our own words, or plans, or concepts, or traditions. They will avail for nothing in the end and they will not protect us! The only weapon we can trust is the Blood and the Word. Nothing else would do.

Apply the Blood. Apply the Blood of the Lamb -and speak the Word of God- on your family, your home, your work, your relatives and on your CHILDREN! It is the only protection we have. We cannot risk going out of our house without the protection of His blood.

GIVE THEM JESUS:

Someone asked me "why is it that it is so hard and we fail in reaching the teenagers and youth in general?" No matter what we do they won't come to church. Let me tell you what I think. Teenagers are in a search for the real thing. They might not know what that real thing is but they surely know what it is NOT! They know that what we mostly do is not the "good stuff". They know that just "doing church" is not the reality they are in the search for.

Someone asked Mother Teresa of Calcutta: "How is it that most of the organizations are losing members and yours is attracting people by the thousands" ? She answered : "I GIVE THEM JESUS"

BACK TO THE BEGINNING:

That's it: put Jesus in the midst of it all. Usher Jesus in and let Him be God! If we would just go back to the beginning. Abraham, in Gen 13:1-4 went all the way "back to where he first built an altar to the Lord". John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word..." In the beginning there was nothing else!!!!

Back to the beginning means to go back to the point of nothingness; to the point where only Jesus is; to the point when only the Word and the Blood are applied and to the point when Jesus is "all in all". It is His fullness and my nothingness!!!

And it is also the point of GRACE. The beginning is the point of realization that not only salvation is by grace but all what we are and have is a work of grace. Our life, our ministry, our church, our family, everything starts with an act of grace, -and yes, even our ministry- and has to be under His grace.

Put Jesus, His Blood, His Grace, the Word in the center and revival will follow as naturally as you get wet when you get into the river. Now, we must remember to step aside when we usher Him in. He does not share His glory.

Spiritual Revival Leads to Kingdom Truth
by Ron McGatlin

The awakening of the sleeping church is jolting many from their pews and into action worshiping, praising, praying, and serving God with dynamic energy. The great revivals of today are establishing the reality of life in God as His presence is again filling His temple -- the hearts and lives of "ordinary " believers. Revived believers are actively pursuing God and His kingdom. Those seeking the kingdom of God lifestyle are no longer satisfied to give ten percent of their money and even a smaller percentage of their time and call it serving God.

Only serving Him with their whole heart -- with their whole life can bring satisfaction to the revived children of God. The powerful presence of God has put a fire of desire within them that cannot be satisfied by idly watching and passively waiting. The church watchers have become God chasers and cannot be stopped. The reality of seeking first the kingdom of God has come into our world through revival.

The doctrine of the Nicolaitans is finally being destroyed. Religion's invention of dividing the Body of Christ into clergy and laity is beginning to be dissolved. The kingdom truth of the five fold ministry gifts of apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, and teachers in "ordinary" believers is coming forth by the Spirit in revival. Christ Jesus is beginning to be honored as head of the church in a practical real way. The revolutionary reformation of church government has begun.

The burden of headship that has been usurped by men and denominations is being returned to the shoulder of Christ. The body of Christ has greatly suffered for centuries as the people in the pew have been trained to reverence men as heads and depend on them for spiritual works and church government. Not only have the people failed to develop spiritual gifts and function but the "Reverends" have suffered under the undue burden of invalid headship.

The great overburden placed upon "men of the clergy" is being lifted in revival. No longer shall the weight of the congregation be on the back of the sacrificed life of the "Reverend -- Minister -- Pastor -- Priest" or whatever title used for the paid minister -- paid to do what God is now raising up a generation of willing volunteers to do in revival.

The overburden has destroyed many men who sought to fulfill a role as head of the church that God never intended. Not only has the burden been great but the temptation has also been great. Many have succumbed to the temptations and taken advantage of the undue worshipful reverence and respect of the people toward them as "heads of the church". The elevation of "clergymen" set them apart as virtual gods and not mere men. The intense affection for Christ that should have been focused on Jesus as true head of the church has been, in part, focused on "clergymen". It has been much too easy for men to become victims of the gifts and offerings of the people and begin to receive illicit affection and money to themselves. Scandal, burnout, and failure became common terms relating to "clergymen" in the passing church emphasis age.

Before the present day outpouring of the presence and power of God began to bring reformation, church leaders struggled with decisions. They often resorted to their own minds which were trained by seminarians in what they could intellectually glean from the Word. For centuries church "heads" and boards of deacons, elders, and denominational bosses have struggled, debated, and voted to make decisions for the church. The reformed men and women of God are learning to listen for and hear God to receive what Christ has already decided and then represent that into the church. Thus the burden of headship is being restored to the shoulder of Christ.

Isa 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isa 9:7 Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

In a practical and real way, revival is bringing reformation. The good news is that believers, church governments, and eventually the world will be reformed to kingdom of God ways. The bad news is that much of the old must be uprooted, torn down, destroyed and overthrown before the new can be built and planted back.

As in the days of Isaiah and Jeremiah it is the zeal of the Lord that is performing the reformation from government by men to the government of God -- the kingdom of God. In Jeremiah Chapter One, Israel had forsaken God for other gods and established ways that had to be torn down and destroyed before God's ways could be replanted. There is a parallel in the church. In practice if not in theology other gods have ruled in the church.

Jer 1:10 NIV: See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant."

The tearing down of the old can be a difficult and painful experience. The past is filled with fond memories of church experiences. Many Christian's faith seems anchored in the relics of the beautiful church buildings and the security of the familiar traditions and fond memories of the past. The future can seem very unsure when the past monuments of beliefs and systems began to crumble and burn.

I remember weeping openly recently as I watched a news video from Virginia. The video was of a beautiful one hundred and sixty two year old church building burning. Fire fighters could do little as the fire destroyed the historical landmark. As I watched the flames swirl up the tall stately steeple that had stood over the city pointing toward the heavens for generations, I felt great sadness and a painful sense of loss. I was impressed in my spirit that this is how many will feel as the old ways of religion are uprooted, torn down, destroyed, and overthrown. These same painful feelings will bruise them as they experience the old ways of the organized church being destroyed to make room for the planting of the kingdom of God ways and the building of the glorious "Bride Church".

Jer 31:28 Just as I watched over them to uproot and tear down, and to overthrow, destroy and bring disaster, so I will watch over them to build and to plant," declares the LORD.

As the children of Israel in the wilderness were unwilling to cross over and take the promised land, there will be those who will not make the transition to the glorious church. They will live and die unchanged retaining their old ways. While their children -- the next generation will enter into the glorious revival of the presence of God and the extreme worship in the glorious church.

God's People

Andrew Combe

I see a vision of clouds - the sky is a burning orange colour and the clouds seem to be rippling with reds and pinks. I see a sword lowered from the midst of the clouds, horizontally. A sword of power; a sword of fire; the Sword of the Spirit. The flaming, red-hot sword of God ! The sword is being placed in the hands of men, to use as the Spirit leads. The fiery substance has engulfed the sword, the sword is burning brightly. That substance is the touch of God Himself !

My people, the sword of fire is ready to be placed in the hands of My chosen elect ! The elect, My children, those who know Me as Master and Lord; Saviour and King; Friend and Companion !

Those who know Me, know that My Word cuts to the centre of a problem, severing the roots of sin and bondage, setting ablaze the road to freedom and victory !
The Word is and contains fire !
The Sword of fire is ready to be given to My people who are ready to hold it responsibly, those who have matured in Me and not in the wisdom of the world or of the flesh, for the fire will consume all that is of the flesh !

The Sword of fire is the power of My Word touching and setting ablaze the hearts of My children ! You see, My children, many have been through the fire and have been cleansed, refined and sanctified but now My Word is filling their hearts with a burning passion that will not only prepare their own hearts for My return but will ignite others, both saved and unsaved !

This fire will spread and consume !
This fire will provoke and arouse the fleshly nature, confronting it with conviction according to the mighty power of My Word ! I know those who have been touched by the fire and have known the fiery process and still hunger for more, and these precious saints will receive more for there is no end to My power !
I am not partial to any one human being and I have no favourites, but I do know those who are ready and prepared to hold this sword and wield it into the hearts of My children . . . My Bride !

They will not wield it according to their own ways and in their own strength but will skilfully use My Sword of fire, the Word igniting in a powerful explosion of My power, to reach into the hearts of men and women, by My leading !

You see, mans methods are of no use to Me for they are not My ways ! The Spirit is in control, not man ! Without My Spirit leading, the control will be in the hands of flesh and this will not glorify Me, for no flesh should glory in My presence ( 1 Cor. 1 v 26-31 ) !

I need control and I am using My chosen vessels to exercise My dominion and reign to ignite with fire a hunger, passion, desire, fervour and fear in the heart of My Church !

The flaming sword of the Spirit will not be quenched !
It will burn brightly in those accepting to surrender to Me
and will convict those who rebel !
For it is here for all !
It is here for all !

Yours in Christ,
