The Second Coming, the Restoration and Jezebel

May 21, 2001

The restoration of all things is a term used by some Bible versions to describe what will happen in the last days to fulfill the spiritual re-building of the temple of Zion. Perhaps all Christians are called to it but those in captivity represent those under the leadership of spiritual Jezebel that has the false authority to replace the spiritual kingdom with a temporal one according to the flesh. The ones that have been taken out of the world and continue in the faith and righteousness expected of us would be among those dressed in white awaiting the bridegroom as a spotless bride. We comprise the living stones of that temple being among the remnant chosen to bring these things to pass.

As the temple of Jesus' physical body rose again on the third day, so also are we entering a third millennial day where the temple of the Body of Christ shall also be raised. The King James Version speaks of the restoration as restitution, which is the act of returning something to its rightful owner, in this case, the church. The world and the flesh has had the controlling interest of Christendom for long enough. Just as Elijah came in the person of John the Baptist, so also shall an Elijah generation come as a forerunner to the second coming of Jesus to denounce that Jezebel spirit. We may draw many correct inferences in these last days by comparing what has been given as examples to us in Bible history. Jesus has promised to come again in power and glory and we are part of that process.

Jesus in a very real sense began that restitution in His sinless life being given as a ransom for all but as Paul wrote to Timothy 2:6, that ransom was "to be testified in due time." Jesus did mention that there would be those that will not taste of death before they see the kingdom of God and we understand this to mean that we may enter into the kingdom of eternal life right now. Jesus is in our hearts and we are able to walk in His footsteps and He is able to live His sinless life through us as we deny ourselves and carry His cross. Just as there is a Sabbath rest for God, so shall we see a Sabbath rest in this third day.

The inescapable fact taken from scripture concerning the second coming is that Jesus will come with power and great glory, revealed from heaven in blazing fire and the nations of the earth will mourn. It will be like the days of Lot with fire and brimstone the day that the Son of Man is revealed, there will be signs in the sun, moon and stars and the heavens will be shaken, all nations will be in turmoil, people will be apostate and hateful, there will arise false prophets and scoffers walking after their own lusts, 2 Peter 3:4 "And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?" We cannot spiritualize all these things, many of these things are upon us now but Jesus is coming to take us back with Him to where He is, there will be justice and mercy for the righteous, this is yet to come and we are supposed to know the way. Luke 21:28

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Of course every generation of Christians have had their end-time prophets proclaiming the time at hand, being a mixture of good and bad. After all, we are told that we would not know when Jesus comes, we should eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed and that we should be on the "watch." It would follow that each generation should have that expectant seeking after and Maranatha hope of "Jesus come quickly," but there is nothing to compare to the day that we are living in. Jesus IS coming soon and He will not overtake us as a thief for we are the children of light and we long for His appearing. Those that have been given that revelatory knowledge need to alert others.

In that Jesus will be coming on the clouds of heaven could be taken in a spiritual sense but we are also told that all eyes shall see Him. We understand that looking into the eyes of a spirit filled Christian may in fact be seeing Jesus, possibly the coming is in His body of believers and in the glory of the Father and holy angels, we may want to discuss that.

Again, we are in the times of restitution now. This restoration is promised to coincide with the return of Jesus following. Saint Peter gave His sermon to the people of Israel after Jesus had lived, died, rose again and had already sent His Spirit fulfilling prophecies of His first coming, a present coming to us through the church age and the future second coming. Acts 3:18,

But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Paul wrote to the gifted about the Day of the Lord: 1 Corinthians 1:6

Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: 7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: 8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

There are many different interpretations given during this discussion concerning end-time thinking. We really do not need to come to any definite conclusions except one and that is that we are to get ready for Jesus. He will let us know how. That may include everyone but for us as the remnant in the restitution of all things, if we are called to it, we can do no other but fulfill that one calling. We are the comer-outers and overcomers, the Elijah spirit, those involved with the man-child of revelation and the manifest sons. We may not know the exact time but we are getting ready in due season and we are a part of that restoration. For those of you that think that Jesus is not coming for whatever reason or we are mistaken for end-time thinking, we should try to love each other anyway. If you cannot, you judge yourself, ask yourself what you doing here but please leave us be. As to rapture theories, the man of sin, the beast, the mark of the beast, millennial positions, Babylon and such are only our opinions at this point. Paul said it well in 1 Corinthians 4:5,

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

The next time you take communion, remember these words: 1 Corinthians 11:26

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

Read on, there are good studies to follow in the responses this time. We discussed the dilemma between coming out of Babylon and the idea that we must strengthen what remains. The writer of Hebrews tells us in 10:25,

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
We brought up the restoration, heresy and false christs, also the seven churches of Asia from "who is, and who was, and who is to come" and the importance of understanding that these churches are still with us and not as separate church ages past. We discussed much of the spirit of Jezebel and that subject makes especially good reading. The bottom line is still love.

Many questions remain unanswered. From here, we may want to continue along the lines of recognizing the Jezebel spirit - or not. Daniel's seventy weeks prophecy has been brought up, the exact time line is not important except in knowing that its fulfillment is in Jesus at His first coming and what transpires during the seventieth week according to the tribulation and second coming. The times of the Gentiles are in between and are soon to come to an end. For those that don't have clue to what I am talking about, it is a very interesting prophecy that would not be so prominent in the Bible if it were not important enough to discuss. It consists of clues to follow, comparing scripture and a little mathematics. Great fun for some and a bore for others.

The consensus this time points out that the divisions in the church over end-time interpretations are from those that stress their own ideas over ones of others. Since we do not know all the answers, we must proceed upon that fact rather than divide over issues that cannot be adequately proven by scripture or past and current events. We are promised the revelation to understand these things but it is predicated upon progressive revelation that we will have to discern as time goes on. If we can only accept the core value of walking in the spirit of love, we will be doing what Jesus would have us do. We all agree in this, we must be ready!

Our Lord is coming soon. Praise His name!!

Dear Jay,

I've never written in on a discussion. Since my son has medical problems, it's hard for me to keep up sometimes. But I did want to say that I am a believer who believes that we are in the end times now as you said, and that the tribulation, Jesus' return, etc. is all in our near future.

Since you wanted to hear from people who believe this, I'm writing in for the first time. I'm not sure if I was supposed to reply to you or to follow the links in the newsletter to reply to this question.

I agree also with what you said about not arguing amongst ourselves, but being united and lifting each other up in these end times. I believe that your group is part of the end time prophecies and that where two or more are gathered in his name, there he will be also. In short, Jay, I believe the Bible.

I'm not a Catholic. I was raised as Baptist, but actually, I'm not anything but a believer because I believe the Bible and the Bible only. And if you do, then you pretty much know that we are living in the last days and that we're blessed to be holding onto our faith and trying to ready ourselves for the upcoming tribulation.

That's just my two cents worth and I hope that my reply isn't inappropriate.

After reading a few of the comments through the link you posted here in the newsletter, I'd like to add one more comment to my previous one if you don't mind. In my humble opinion, the most important thing in this world is that you BELIEVE. I don't get caught up in arguing points of the Bible, etc. because my personal belief is that it takes away time that you could actually be studying and learning more. I hope my comment is not offensive to anyone, this is just my own humble opinion.

Sincerely and God Bless,
Cindy Crook

Bro Jay, I read your work on Babylon. What is amazing is we agree on so many things it is unusual. You have done a lot of wonderful research and nail many things tight on target.

As far as identifying the players who comprise the later day 10 horns we'll have to see the picture get clearer. I might say that the beast daniel saw, he also defines. Babylon was the head of gold, but the bear who raised itself higher on one side and was also the part that was silver was the kingdom of the Medes and Persians. The Persians ultimately absorbed the Medes thus raising itself up higher. Daniel goes on to explain that the leopard which had 4 horns proceed out from it is none other than Greece and Alexander the Great succeeded by his 4 generals. Greece was also the part that was brass.

The 4th kingdom of iron was Rome. And then the kingdom here in the last day was iron and clay mixed with 2 feet and 10 toes. What is interesting to me is the fact it seems like Daniel in Ch 7 excludes the 4th kingdom and jumps to our day. The 7 heads John says In Rev 17 that 5 are fallen, one is and one is not yet come. The 5 fallen Gentile world empires that had reign over Israel were Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Media-Persia, Greece, and Rome was the one in power when John was given the Revelation and the one not yet come is the one to rise in the last days. But it will only continue a short space. Or in Rev 13 it states it will last a short season. Same beast.

I think it is possible, and I am watching this very close that it has attributes of a leopard, a lion, and a bear that could be today Greece, Iran ( ancient Persia) and Iraq ( ancient Babylon ) the last beast and the 7th head has to also come to pass and I think that head with the wound that was healed and yet lived is Germany. Because Hitler was defeated by the sword, Germany ceased to be a sovereign unified nation until 1988 when it was reunited and the wound was healed. What is also significant is the fact it was the Germanic tribes that defeated the Roman Empire and also the German Emperors who enabled the Papacy on the west to become the head of the apostate church. It was this way even until 1914-1918 when the Ottoman Empire came to an end. What would happen under Germany if the next pope was a German? Interesting thought isn't it?

I believe the 10 horns are a grouping of 10 European Nations yet to be identified headed by the Religious System blessed by the Roman Catholic Church at it inception.

I don't think America is nor England part of the beast. They have been world powers but not with a beastial conquering disposition. Plus neither trampled the Jews under their feet as well. In fact there might be a case in Zechariah, if the 4 carpenter are nations and not specific heads of nations or a nation, that America and England are two of the carpenters that help to rebuild Israel.

Let me close by saying I enjoy reading your writings. I perceive God's hand on your life. But as you said no one has it all and it pays each of us to consider one another. Let the spirit of a prophet be subject to others prophets.

I will stick to my guns on the time of the coming of the Lord because like I said in my email God never hoodwinks anyone about his coming. He is on record as sending people with the knowledge of God's time for judgment to preach the message whether people believe it or not. It was not needed for even the 12 apostles to know the day of the hour but it is necessary for the generation it involves to know. Mark my words, God will raise up a true Ministry who has it nailed down in the Bible and it will be confirmed by God from heaven. One thing you can bank on the truth of it is in the Bible....But I rejoice in the depth of your understanding on so many things. God bless keep up the good work. GH

Dear Jay

I agree with your view on heresy. However we have to exercise restraint when dealing with the Catholics and Protestants. Who by following there own advise seek to lead the world astray, and has done so during the past two thousand years.

CHRIST WILL RETURN SOON!

The signs of the beginning of sorrows are everywhere. However the great tribulation is yet to begin. No one knows the hour, but Christ gave his prophets indications to look for.

Let us examine Moses, Jacob and Daniel. In the Torah, when the spies of the tribes refused to go up and take canaan from the Anaks/Giants, this angered the Lord. Who then decreed that none of them would enter Israel. This prophecy was given on the 9th of Av. The same date both temples were destroyed. The lord further when on to tell moses "As surely as I live the whole World will see my Glory". This is the promise of Christ return. Also the Lord said to Moses Forty Days you will journey in the wilderness taking a day for a year. This is the heavenly formula of prophecy indicating a prophetic day equals one year.

Jacob prophesied of Judah that he will be the Law-Giver and Sheol will come. The Lion of Judah is none other than Jesus Christ as indicated in Revelation. At his death on the cross the Dead came out of there tombs and ascendend into heaven (Sheol Came). This information was been suppressed by the Romans and False Jews. Modern day christians need to give it some thought, for it will also happen again as indicated by Daniel 12.

Daniel chp. 12 gives us many clues. Michael will stand up, Dead will arise after 1260 + 1335 days from the destruction of the first temple approximately 537BC. Taking the formula a day for a year this gives us an idea of how close the time is at hand. Even as it is said "He is at the door".

The main task now for us is to prepare to met the Bridegroom and not be like the five foolish virgins.

These are a few of my thoughts I would like to share.

Blessed be his name

Jay:

I have scanned thru the discussion and have some thoughts on the basis for unity. The pivotal focus is Who we gather around. It is God, not doctrine. And here is where it has gotten sticky with some of the adherents to the "oneness doctrine." Fundamentally, the most potent doctrines are those which deal with God's nature, who He is, what He is like. The ancient Church wrestled with these issues for the first several hundred years and finally defined His one nature as existing in the three persons of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit . . .equally. Just as important is the issue of the Incarnation . . Jesus being the God-Man. If we tamper with these truths, not invented, but clarified by the holy elders/leaders of the church (bishops), we are playing with dangerous fire. Once we tamper with the Trinity, of who God is, the basis of our unity becomes arbitrary. The Mormons have a Jesus. The Muslims have a Jesus. Secular society even has a Jesus. They all point to the one historical figure, yet have a different understanding of who He said he was, and what His nature was like, as the bishops clarified at early church ecumenical councils. It is on this basis that I break intimate fellowship with these various groups. They have tampered with the one essential element for unity. The oneness doctrine is very deceptive, since there are so many other familiar concepts, and similar language that go along with these groups . . . that most protestants have an easier time embracing these groups than they do a catholic!

I happen to be a Roman Catholic, and am often quite disheartened by some of the things I read in this list . . . but you know, while it is not OK . . . I can still live with it because you follow the same God that I do . . . and have the same understanding of what He is like . . . that I do (and more importantly as our Church Fathers did). That is the basis of my fellowship with other protestants and orthodox christians. In terms of what the future holds . . . and what the different future eschatological perspectives are . . . I haven't been there yet . . . and cannot with certainty tell you about what tomorrow will bring. . . except that I will need to be ready for my King when He returns. Maybe tonight?

May the Peace of Christ be with you all

Jay;

You asked in your most recent message who might believe that not only the end time is near but who really believes that it will come to pass. You may in faith count on the fact that I believe that all things must come to an end and that in the case of God's promise that it would. I consider myself perhaps the most junior of all who may have the capacity to feel his acts and I can assure you that it will happen as he has promised. I have fought the great tempter most of my life and am still doing battle daily. I know that it will come to pass.

Dear Jay

I sense your frustration at the sceptics, whose aims are world domination. When they upset you, rebuke them in the Lord's Name.

Anyway I would like to point your attention to the Book of Enoch which gives us details of his ascension and the prophecies of the end-times. Enoch is known as the teacher of righteousness, and today thousands of years later we still use the knowledge he revealed of how to calculate the true celestial calendar, which is both Lunar and solar (Jewish Calendar). This information he received from God long before Modern Astronomy.

In my own opinion, which is also shared by many, Enoch and Elijah are the two servants of Revelation 11. If that is so then Enoch will return before the day of the Lord as Elijah/John the Baptist did at his first coming. The reason for his Elijah and Enoch's return was to prepare mankind and to experience DEATH. They are the only two descendants of Adam who were taken up into heaven without dying. All mankind must experience death and rebirth in Christ.

When we read and understand the scriptures, that is good. However when we experience the bliss of Christ for ourselves, we can not be deceived. It was on the morning of 10 January 2000, when just before awaking I heard the voice of Christ in a vision and was taken up between heaven and earth to behold the upper worlds. I saw Adam, Eve and Enoch (Metatron) standing in the light of Christ. Christ I did not see, but heard his voice above me. I also saw the great serpent, Satan surrounding the light, but he could not harm me, for Christ protected me.

After such an experience, that many others also had like paul's out-of-body-experience, I have received living proof of the Christ. I do not wish to boast, however the point is this. As we approach the end times, many more people, the elect ones will receive such visions and understand the deceptions of the world we live in. Since my experience, I no longer have a fear of death, and my soul longs to go home to meet my Lord Jesus Christ. I wish all could have such an experience, which will change their lives.

By the way, I have published the Book of Enoch

Jay

Has anyone watched the movie left behind? It is an eye opening movie that no one should pass up. Watch for the rebuilding of the Solomon castle (which to some extent is already happening) the bible says this man who is the antichrist and live in the castle is gentile. The enemy is from the north I believe is Russia and possibly china. The movie gives you all the bible verses. I researched this movie and the message it tells, there is no mistaking it, Jesus will be coming soon.

From Patriot To Priest

The five years I spent in the United States Army, back during the Vietnam era, are still a large part of my life today. The memories of friends and experiences, especially the year spent in Vietnam, seem like they occurred yesterday. I was born and raised to be a patriot. Webster defines a patriot as: "A person who loves, supports, and defends his country and its interests."

Can someone who is born again into the Kingdom of God still remain a patriot? Can he still fight and kill to defend the country and its interests? Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were of this world, then would my servants fight......pick up your cross and follow me." John wrote in Revelation 5:10, "and hast made us unto our God Kings and Priests, and we shall reign on the earth."

The answer to my questions seems pretty simple and obvious, doesn't it? Jesus Christ is coming soon and we are all to be ready, without spot or wrinkle! You are all welcome to visit our new website at:

My dear prophetic brothers and sisters in Christ,

I have a dilemma. For the last 20 plus years the Lord has had me outside the camp. You know, outside of the main-line churches, and even the independent ones. I have spent many years in a spiritual wilderness, learning to hear the Lord's voice and, really, I have gotten to enjoy it out here. I have meditated on verses like the ones in Hebrews thirteen that speak of going outside the gate unto Jesus, bearing His reproach.

10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.
11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp.
12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
13 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.
14 For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.
15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
(Hebrews 13:1-15, NKJV).

Inside the camp has never been a very pleasant experience for me. The children under the law have always been quick to persecute the children of promise (Read Galatians four). I was never one of "them." Maybe some of you can relate. I have been an idealist and a visionary that has once tasted of true Christian community and of the things that we read of in the Book of Acts that the early Church knew so well, that freedom in the Spirit of Christ in true Christian community. This in itself has ruined me for just "playing church." I have an inner longing for the REAL, and I know that where the love of Christ abounds it is possible.

So what is my problem? Years ago as I was leaving main-line Christianity the Lord warned me that my time in His wilderness was for the purpose of training me to hear His voice in the silence of His holy place away from the hustle and bustle of the outer court activity. Well, He has done that with me. I have learned much at His feet. But now the rest of what He told me back then looms before me.

He had told me that He would once again call me back into the outer court to reach out to those who long for something more. I read where God did the same thing with Paul and Jesus. They had to go up to Jerusalem even though they new full well that it was to be the beginning of the end for them. It was Jerusalem that kills the prophets and Paul knew that it was the last step before being sent with the gospel to Rome where He was killed. Out of Jesus' own mouth came these words,

37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!
38 See! Your house is left to you desolate;
39 for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!¹²
(Matthew 23:37-39, NKJV).

I believe that God has a two fold mission for the prophetic. One is to proclaim the REAL Church to the REAL Church. We are to "Write the vision and inscribe it upon tables, that they who read it may run."(Habakkuk 2:2). We are the watchman on the walls of Jerusalem, doing a thankless job, pointing out where the ship has gone off coarse to all who have ears to hear, showing them the more excellent way. The second job is to be a target. Yes, I said target. Jesus said that He would send prophets into their midst to be targets that the very actions of these religious leaders would condemn them in their sin unless they repent.

29 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous,
30 and say, 'ŒIf we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.'
31 Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets.
32 Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers¹ guilt.
33 Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?
34 Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city,
35 that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.
39 for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!'" (Matthew 23:29-35&39, NKJV).

So my dear prophetic saints, this seems to be where I find myself in my fifty-sixth year of life and I feel every bit alone as Paul must have on his way up to Jerusalem with the members of the Church prophesying to him, warning him not to go and hanging on his neck, weeping over him, knowing that he was on his way to certain death.

A little over thirty years ago I stumbled onto a verse in Paul's letter to the Philippians. It became my "life verse." It reads,

10 that I may know Him (Jesus) and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, (Philippians 3:10, NKJV).

Well, most times when I have heard this passage preached it only included "the POWER of His resurrection." None taught on "the fellowship of His sufferings" or "being conformed to His death." I guess that I am a bit crazy in this respect. I wanted the "full meal deal" right from the start, knowing that the kingdom of God was not a smorgasbord where you could load up on desert and skip the main course.

One day not so long ago I was pondering why my life for the last thirty or more years was filled with rejections, false accusations, shunning, and even plots to get rid of me, both in my blood family and in the family of God. Then I got my answer... it was an answer to my prayer of thirty years ago to be conformed into the image of Jesus. He had been allowing me to "fill up the measure" of what He suffered here on earth. It was "the fellowship of HIS sufferings."

Well, guess what is left? If I truly expect to know the power of His resurrection, I must be also conformed to His death. No guts, no glory. No death, no power. Jesus put it this way, "Unless the grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone, but if it dies it will bring forth much fruit."

I have had my eyes opened to see many of the truths of God over these last few years, even the knowledge that much of what goes by the name of "Christianity" today, is not. Knowledge and wisdom by themselves are worth nothing in God's economy. Paul put it this way,

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:2, NKJV).

It takes agape love operating within us before we and all our spiritual gifts are of any value in the kingdom of God. This has been long time coming in my heart, for I am not a very loving guy. It was love that compelled Paul and Jesus to go to Jerusalem. Love that went far beyond "spare thyself" love that Peter begged of Jesus that day when He announced that He was going up to Jerusalem to die. Without sacrificial love there is not obeying God's commands to their final end, for He demands our all. "He who finds his life shall loose it, but he who looses his life and for the kingdom's sake, shall find it." We can not serve our own best SELF interests and serve our Lord, too. It is Satan that counsels, "Spare thyself."

21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.
22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!"
23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." (Matthew 16:21-23, NKJV).

So, if any of you have any input or prayerful counsel for me, I would be glad to hear it. The church I have in mind going back into will be the one that I have detested the most in the past because of their controlling ways over the flock of God's people, causing many of my friends great pain. I would appreciate your prayers.

Love in Christ for all His sheep,

"A Wilderness Voice" http://www.wildernessm.homestead.com

Michael, know that as you are called to this office, not by any man but by the Almighty Himself, do not allow another to distract you from what you must do. The false church shall persecute the true, and you will be branded arrogant and proud, and they will try to stone you, if even only in the spirit. You will be accused of being mis-guided, deceived, unable to take authority from leadership, and unsubmissive to leadership.

The leadership this army submits to is the Lord Himself, and to Him alone. There is a balance here though, and that is that if the Lord has placed you under the authority of a spirit-filled and guided leader, we are to submit to Him.. But if he truly is filled with Christ, it is Christ who leads us anyway. These are far and few between though. The world's church is about to be destroyed, and all that will be left will be the foundation stone Himself, and above this rubble will be the resting place of the New Jerusalem of Revelation.

This suffering as Christ suffered, this is the thing which will sort the true from the fake, for you literally feel like your guts is being ripped out. This is something that the church will not be willing to partake of. Why do you think that the most powerful manifestations of God's mighty presence is where those are who suffer terrible persecution?

To experience the complete rejection from those who should know better, the total betrayal from those you trusted the most, and these are not from the secular world, they are "christian" by claim. Just as it was Jesus' own people who betrayed Him, so it will be for us, our christian brothers and sisters.

susannah

Dear Michael,

Jesus tells us that in the end-times the love of many will grow cold. Matthew 24:12-13 But praise God you belong to the group that is enduring to the end and shall be saved.

I wanted to add another thought of encouragement for you. 1 Peter 1:3-9
I am going to paraphrase this: Blessed be our God that in His great mercy He has kept you strong in faith unto salvation. I rejoice with you in your love for Him. Though your faith has been tested it shines forth more precious than gold. All of your life has been lived for the glory and praise of God. Your love for Him is alive in your heart and mind and this is His gift to us (1:9) "Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your soul."

Praise you Lord,
Thank you Michael for fighting the good fight unto the end. Each prayer that you lift up in His name is equipping all of His saints with greater power.

Blessings,
Arlette

[1 Pet. 3:8]---'Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.'

Beloved Michael Clark, I am glad to hear that the Beloved has put you back into the outer court, to help, as you said, the children under the Law. What follows is what I hope will be encouraging to you.

'Be courteous' [RV 'humble-minded' ]. What is humility? So far as practiced towards our fellow-men, it is simply a particular way of being unselfish.

If we are Christians we must be courteous. It is part or our absolute duty, and in so far as we neglect it we fall short of the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. There is, it is true, a class of people who are honest and well meaning, but who are persistently discourteous and are not ashamed. There is for instance, the man who is credited with what is called a bluff, blunt manner, and who credits himself with a special quality of downrightness an straightforwardness. He considers it best to say what he thinks, and boasts that he never minces words. And people make all kinds of excuses for him, and rather talk as if he were a fine fellow, beside whom civil-spoken persons are little better than hypocrites. As a matter of fact, no one can calculate the pain this outspoken gentleman causes in a single day, both in his family and outside. Nor can one readily understand why he is praised, or even tolerated, and why he is not sharply dealt with as an offender against the social peace. For us, there is nothing unmanly in courtesy. The strongest and bravest men are generally the mildest and gentlest. Indeed, courtesy is often a sign of strength, because it implies and involves a certain self-repression. The weak and pompous man fears to be courteous lest he should compromise his own small dignity ; but he who is truly strong is far above any such dread.

Also in Hebrews 13:13 it mentions of 'bearing reproach.' Reproach is that 'cross' [as well as other things] which he that will follow Christ must 'take up,' Mat. 16:26. This phrase, to take up,' implies a willing subjection to that which is laid upon one.

The object of reproach is a man's good name. This is that mark at which reproachers do aim, in shooting out their venomous arrows of reproach. Now a good name is the most precious thing that a generous mind has. He prefers it before wealth, health, liberty, or life itself. The wounds of a good name do pierce deep into a man's soul. In this respect reproaches which wound a man's good name are very grievous. Christ himself put reproach into the catalogue of persecution, Matt. 5:11. So do his apostles, 1 Pet. 4:14, 1 Cor. 4:12-13.

The many complaints which holy men of God have made here, do evidently demonstrate that reproach is a very bitter pill and abundant potion. Among the complaints of other, such as David made, do evidently demonstrate the point. He resembled reproachful words to sharp, deadly instruments of war, as arrows, swords, spears ; and to the deadly poison of serpents and adders, or asps. Read for this purpose, Ps. 57:4, 58:4, 140:3, Rom. 3:13.

It is supposed that this was one of the most venomous arrows that Satan shot against Job, namely, the reproach wherewith his friends reproached him. He did a lot of complaining here, Job 19:2-3, and in other places.

When we willingly 'take up' the cross of reproach, it puts a difference between such as merely upon necessity, because it cannot be avoided, lies under a thing, as such by a due consideration of our duty to God,

By an inward meek disposition, which keeps the passion from being disturbed, and the mind from being vexed and perplexed, yes, and from wishing revenge against the reproacher.

Another thing intended under bearing reproach is courage and constancy in persisting in that which is good, notwithstanding we be reproached for the same. Thus did David bear his wife's reproach when she accounted him as a vain fellow for manifesting his zeal in dancing before the Lord, and said, 'I will yet be more vile than this,' 2 Sam. 6:16, 20, 22.

This is to bear reproach aright.

In Christ, Timothy.

Maranatha

Hi Michael,

I hope that you had a day of joy today at church. Of course, it is only an assumption that you had indeed gone to church but I know exactly how you feel. I did not go to church today. I did not go last week or the week before. Arlette just mailed me a message that suggested that I am hurt from church and she is praying for me that I would give it over to the Lord. Well, hurt, maybe, but disappointed for sure. I suppose it is my problem more than the church, I don't know. I really do see the church through idealistic eyes of how it is supposed to be, without all that false authority and manipulation, false thinking and money grubbing, ignorance and confusion. My problem is that I am looking at a church the way it should be when God is not through with it yet. Another problem is that the devil is not through with it yet either and he has had his way with the church for so long that it is hard to be a part of what the church has become. But it is still God's church, is it not?

Well, we are told to get out of Babylon. At the same time we are to "strengthen what remains," so where does that place us? Right into the church that we have separated ourselves from and love them anyway, even when they hurt us and despise our word and the message that God has given last day people.

So, I too have that dilemma. Although I fellowship all week in my own way, spread the word every way I can and get fed directly from the trough, my Jerusalem stands in the darkness that they have been in since I came to town. I have been told not to worry about man's little kingdoms on separate corners with their steeples rising into heaven like the tower of Babel and concentrate on a home fellowship. I have though of making flyers and get the neighborhood kids to take them door to door. It makes sense to me to appeal to the sensibility of the masses and preach love and the reason of the Lord's admonition for us to speak as one. Surely there would be a good number of people in my own neighborhood that would want that as well. Right? I guess I would not know unless I tried it first but what I have tried is talking to people at church with the truth that could get them away from the incompatible doctrines and love others as Jesus loves us and steer them away from the self-righteous superiority and luke-warm smug self satisfaction posing as church worship but it hasn't worked for me in the past no matter how many times I have tried, or where.

I have been in the wilderness also but I was hoping that it was over for me. Maybe finding Him outside the camp is the way to go. It doesn't seem so far.

Jay

Dear Jay, Suzanne, Arlette, Hans and Timothy,

Well, I am glad to report that the Lord did not make me "go to church" today. :-) He did make me willing, though. I am waiting for His direction on where and when to go. The main thing is that I am no longer telling Him, "I will never go to one of those places again!" I have put down a fleece, if you will. I asked him that I would not have to got to one of these formal meetings alone without another brother going with me that can hear the Lord's voice. I think that this is fare as he always sent the disciples in pairs and it appears that Paul never went anywhere alone, either. So I wait.

I am still under the conviction that what we see today is not the Church. We see a mixture of the government of fallen man and Christianity. It is that unholy mixture of clay and iron upon which the Stone not cut with the hands of men is about to fall. The iron in the feet of that image is the Romanism of the legs flowing down into the clay of His chosen ones (read Daniel two). Whether it be the head of gold, the chest and arms of silver, the belly of bronze the legs of iron or the feet of iron and clay, it is all under the judgment of God. The only thing that shall remain is the mountain that rises out of that small Stone and fills the whole earth.

God has always hated a mixture. Whether it be the mixture of Israel marrying into other tribes, impure gold or silver that has not been purified in the fire, or lukewarm Christians that are neither hot or cold, but a mixture of both. He is still in the business of separating. Jesus warned,

34 ³Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
35 ³For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law¹;
36 ³and a man¹s enemies will be those of his own household.¹
37 ³He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
38 ³And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
39 ³He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.
40 ³He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.
41 ³He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet¹s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man¹s reward.
42 ³And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.² (Matthew 10:34-42, NKJV).

The Word of God, Jesus, is likened to a sword in Hebrews:

12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. 14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. (Hebrews 4:12-14, NKJV).

He separates wheat from tares, sheep from goats, and foolish from wise virgins, soul from spirit, bone from marrow and the Whore from the Bride. The money changers in His temple, the Church, are about to feel His lash once again and there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Jay, I can not fault you for looking at the Church "the way it should be"... so does Jesus, in fact He is more exacting than we are. He is coming back for a bride that is perfect without spot or blemish. No, I don't see a lot of greasy grace of sloppy agape being poured out in the last days, but I do see a call for us to walk in the light as He is in the light and only then can we have true fellowship.

Jesus' last words to the Church in the scripture should be a guide to us as how He expects us to walk:

2 ³I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; (Revelation 2:2, NKJV).

6 ³But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.(Revelation 2:6, NKJV).
(Nicolaitan - in the Greek this word literally means "to rule over the congregation" God still hates it!)

14 ³But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
15 ³Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
16 Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. (Revelation 2:14-16, NKJV).

20 ³Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
21 ³And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent.
22 ³Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.
23 ³I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. (Revelation 2:20-23, NKJV).

1 ³And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: ³I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
2 ³Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.
3 ³Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. (Revelation 3:1-3, NKJV).

15 ³I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
16 ³So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
17 ³Because you say, ŒI am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing¹ --and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked--
18 ³I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
19 ³As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. (Revelation 3:15-19, NKJV).

In case you didn't catch it here, Jesus means business. He is not coming back for a snot-nosed, spoiled brat for His bride. Game time is over. It is time to repent of the wickedness that we as Christians have embraced over the last 1700 years in the Church. "Let he who has ears, hear what the Spirit IS saying to the Churches."

Yes, Jay we are to "strengthen that which remains." We are not to give our strength to prop-up the Nicolaitan system of false leaders, Jezebel and her false prophets, the Balaams in our midst that prophesy for gain, or the lying false Apostles that are springing up everywhere in this hour. The context of that verse reads, "strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent." We are to strengthen all things that abide in His Truth and let the rest die!

14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?
16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: ³I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.²
17 Therefore ³Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.²
18 ³I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty.² (2 Corinthians 6:14-18, NKJV).

Notice that verse eighteen above follows verse seventeen.

Hi all,

I think the theme that the discussion of separation is taking is important. Not only are we going in this direction but the Lord is putting these things on the hearts of other groups as well. There are some questions that we can be thinking about. There can be no denying (at least from our perspective) that the analogies used in the Old Testament restoration of the temple are guidelines for us to follow in the last day restoration of the church.

Is the entire body of Christ the Bride?
Is the remnant the Bride?
Is the remnant the last day ministry that will perfect the church to be the Bride?
Are those in Babylonian captivity still part of the body of Christ?
Is this separation and sword of division an occasion for us to separate from the main body of the church that is held captive?

The reason that these are still questions is that I see people taking different directions on how we should be acting. I think through more discussion that we can come up with more answers.

I have found through some responses that I have received is that everyone has come to different conclusions on end-time prophecies. There can be no spiritual consensus if we cannot agree meaning that it may not be the time to agree and just bring up these ideas and see if we can narrow them down a little. Much of what we are discussing does not matter. What matters is that we are looking for Jesus to come in His glory and that we are ready. For example there have been some continuity in what we all think Jezebel to be. I am working on it but whatever we think of this should be brought up some more.

Anyway, what does it mean to be the remnant in the sense of restoration?

THE SEVENFOLD LIGHT OF THE MOON

We have been warned that there shall be many who come claiming to be "Christ", yet we don't seem to understand or take that warning to heart. We know that the false christs will wield enough soul power in order to work great miracles, signs and wonders -- so we should know better than to be deceived by what we see. (Things affecting our mind, will or emotions). The forces of darkness have a great ability to empower the soul of man, and display their counterfeit powers and deception -- but we, as believers are not limited by this fleshly realm of discernment.

Jesus Christ brought the Kingdom of God into our midst and in those birthed into the Kingdom, there is a whole new way of discernment -- by the Spirit. Paul taught us that as believers, we are "henceforth" to know no man after the flesh -- We are to *know* in a whole new way, no longer dependent upon our fleshly eyes and fleshly discernment, now *knowing*, *walking*, *keeping in step* with the Spirit, living in the Kingdom of God -- right here, right now. Men and women under the authority and reign of "The King" in His Kingdom; God-Governed men and women, sojourners here in this alien land. We have born a likeness to the earthly man, but now we are to bear a likeness to the man from Heaven, for we have been changed, we are new creatures!

"Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we [him] no more. Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Cor 5:16-17

How many believers truly walk dependent upon the Spirit's Leading and Discernment? How many believers continue to look for an "earthly kingdom" -- just as did the Jews? How many believers look to an earthly institution as the physical manifestation of this Spiritual Kingdom? Thinking that by joining -- or by leaving -- an earthly ---- fleshly -- kingdom that they have entered the Kingdom of God?

God's Kingdom exists. (period) It is here in the midst of us. Wherever two or three are joined (IN CHRIST) there He is in the midst of them. Jesus came preaching the Kingdom of God -- and we have not yet grasped the true Spiritual Meaning of it. We by faith, are birthed into it, and yet it seems we continue to strive for transformation of this "temporal" world... not recognizing the reality of having been rescued from this kingdom of darkness -- translated into the Kingdom of the Agape-Huios. The LOVE-Son. (Col 1:13)

God, who is Spirit, flows across all of man's walls and barriers completely unhindered. He has established His Kingdom in the hearts of every man, woman, child who "does the Will of the Father" .. in every one who has submitted to - and lives in this submission to His Rule and Reign. Paul taught through his letter to Timothy that the Foundation of God is sealed with this truth: That GOD KNOWS those whom belong to Him.

GINOSKO.. intimate knowledge. HE knows them.. and through that Knowing-Intimate Relationship with Him, they will turn away from all iniquity. (2 Tim 2:19)

They belong to HIM --He KNOWS them -- no matter how many other 'believers' might reject them because of their earthly affiliations and actions -- His Kingdom is sealed with this Truth: Intimate KNOWLEDGE -- as a man knows his wife, so Christ KNOWS His Church. In Union with Him, they have become One even as He prayed that they would. Love is the union between Christ and His Church and is the bonding between all those who have entered the Kingdom of the AGAPE-Son. Anything less than that unity is counterfeit. Hence Paul's prayer that we would KNOW the depth, the height, the length, the breadth of the Love of God.

Man continues to build "earthly kingdoms" -- inside and outside the church walls. Carnal man continues to lord it over the faith of others. Carnal man leaves one fleshly manifestation of a Spiritual Kingdom, only to re-create a 'baby' of the same sort. Flesh continuously giving birth to more flesh. The Spiritual man is not hindered nor confined by any walls created by man.. The Spiritual man has left the control and limitation of the earthly power.. has been translated into the Kingdom of the Agape-Son. The spiritual man cannot be contained, for he will flow as the Spirit leads.. again, a God-Governed man -- a son of God, who does only what he sees His Father doing.

In truth, everyone who claims to be "Christian" is claiming to be "Christ" -- for our Christian faith teaches us that "He", Christ Himself "is formed in our hearts by faith". There was only ever ONE CHRISTIAN and He continues to live now in many bodies. John teaches us this is "the Doctrine of Christ": That Jesus Christ IS COME in the flesh. Not past tense.. "IS COME".. Present tense; anyone who denies this is speaking by the antichrist spirit. (1 John 4:2: 2 John1: 7)

Every Christian, acting in accordance with his convictions and his understanding of Scripture is claiming by his actions to be "Christ" in that situation -- rightly or wrongly, truthfully or falsely, he IS claiming "to be Christ" in that situation. (Many believers would not comfortably do this -- preferring to pattern themselves after an "old testament prophet" -- and yet the shadows only pointed to the New: Christ Himself is the PROPHET they claim to be. To deny that Jesus Christ IS COME in their flesh is to deny Christ Himself. They can be no lesser man/woman than Christ Himself under the New Covenant)

Our flesh wants to soften that truth a bit -- we claim to be "not perfect" etc, etc.. adding spiritual disclaimers... BUT.. the reality IS that when anyone speaks as a Christian, they ARE claiming to be one of Christ's earthly manifestations. What an incredible responsibility -- and one that should force us to our knees asking God to forgive us all for taking this all so lightly -- for we truly ARE Christ one to another. Taking His Name in vain is a serious matter to Him)

When we **knowing** that we only know see through a glass darkly -- **knowing** that we can't even begin to see what hasn't yet been revealed to us -- **knowing** that we are imperfect and so capable of destroying the lives of many by our actions -- **knowing** that we will stand accountable for every life we have hurt in Christ's Name --

When we KNOWING all this, continue to put ourselves in a position of authority over "the faith" of others --- can't we see that we are being used the pawn of the antichrist spirit??? Where is our humility? Where is our Godly Fear? Where is our wisdom? We are responsible for our own walk -- in the amount of Light that the Lord has given us, but when we think are to correct another, telling them how they are supposed to walk, then we have become like Peter, whom the Lord rebuked for daring to question what another of His servants was to do. To His OWN MASTER Jesus said, he would stand or fall.. and he would stand for the God would help him.

Ultimately all these questions as to who is the church, who is the Bride, who is true and who is false.. all this will all be settled -- and perhaps sooner than we realize. Isaiah 30:26 has a prophecy that is yet to be fulfilled: "Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the LIGHT of the Sun, and the LIGHT OF THE SUN Shall be SEVENFOLD as the light of the seven days; in the day the Lord bindeth up the breach of His People, and Healeth the Stroke of their wound"

When the Light of the Sun (SON) shall become SEVENFOLD times as great as the Light which has been seen in these past seven days -- And The LIGHT OF THE MOON shall be as the Light of the Sevenfold Sun!... THEN we shall see clearly who those were whom the LORD Intimately KNEW as His Own... He shall heal and restore His People -- what we have only partially known, then we shall know fully -- for we shall see Him as He really is, and when we do, we shall be LIKE HIM. The Sons of Light, according to the Dead Sea Scrolls, shall manifest a Light never before seen on earth.. not ever.. and the sons of darkness shall be overthrown! Love shall never fail.

All the arguments will be all over -- the hate/division/discord bantered around "in His Name" shall be ended.. And those who are His Beloveds, His 'moons' shall reflect His Sevenfold Light .. Then it shall be clearly seen whom belonged to Him. When the Real comes .. The counterfeit shall flee.

In the meantime... let's go and learn what He means when He says "He Desires MERCY and not Sacrifice." Let's be conformed to the Image of the Son of God! This is our destiny in Love.

Forgive us Father, we know not what we do!

Restoration and the Remnant

Rev. 21:2 "The holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."

New Jerusalem, the final home for the body of believers. So who are the remnant - the body - the men and women who create the tabernacle of God? Revelation 21:7 - tells us who they are - they are those who have overcome. People who have gained victory over the darkness of this world through faith in Jesus. Believers from each of the seven churches who have overcome - kept the faith unto death.

God has always been faithful to remind His remnant - His people in each of the seven churches to hold fast to that which was given to them. This has been a truth throughout all of history. Hold on. And it doesn't matter what anyone does or says to try to distort this truth because God is going to get His message across one way or another to His body. He will never leave His people alone. Even when it seems as if the body is growing weary in waiting - God will have His way of encouraging us - of reminding us He is near. His spirit has filled His trumpeters - His messengers from each generation to remind us of the truth that He is alive and living amongst us. To not give up hope. He is a reality that is to be experienced in this life and in the one that we are to enter into.

The sword of the Lord is powerful and who is able to come against it? When He decides it is time for a cutting away - to separate the wheat, His people, from the tares of the enemy who will be able to stop Him? What He purposed He will accomplish. It is impossible for mere men to stop those who have been born of the Spirit. God will protect them and He will guide them. Whether it is through the desert or through the wilderness they will make it home. The course has been laid out for them. And though they may not know exactly how they are going to get there, they do know with confidence that God will be faithful to lead them safely home.

The last day ministry - is today, yesterday, and tomorrow. So be kind, be humble, be the first one to turn the other cheek. Seek Him with all your heart and you will find Him. Set an example as an overcomer that Jesus is alive, because He lives within you.

Blessings,
Arlette

In regards to what is meant by restoration, I believe, from scriptural evidence, that restoration is simply returning to man that which was lost in the garden. The covering that Adam had, that covered his nakedness with glory. The shakinah glory that was God Himself. God did not just walk with Adam, He dwelt with Him, as He is to dwell within us.

God's glory was lost by a disobedience of Adam against God. No matter how much has been written about what the original sin was, from sexual mis-conduct, to sexual intercourse with satan himself. Could it not be that it was simply that God had given them everything, and for reasons of His own, and for a greater purpose, He simply chose one particular tree that they were not at liberty to partake of, simply to teach them obedience.

How often, as a parent, do you tell a toddler not to touch something, the first thing they do, is test you out to see if you mean it. It is a deep part of our nature, is rebellion. And in this instance, a costly one for all of mankind.

Man has tried since Jesus' time to come to that communion with God that Jesus experienced. It is promised throughout scripture, and by Jesus Himself. This is that which restoration firstly portrays. From this, we then come into that promised land of milk and honey. All things the enemy has stolen shall be returned, 100-fold.

The New Jerusalem is made up of those who have received their crown of life. Those who have heard the laws, statutes, commandments of the Lord, and had them written on their hearts Those who have not feinted or turned away. Those who are still intensely in love with Jesus, that all else fades into oblivion. Those who have overcome.

Overcome what?

Is it simply evil, or sin, or is it more. Is simply accepting Jesus all that is takes. Can we rest in security that all we have to do is just believe. That is truly an important part of it, but is it enough. I am not in any way talking of earning our salvation?

Make an indepth study of the seven letters to the seven churches, and you notice something intriguing. In each letter, the words, "To him who overcomes I will...." In Ephesus it was with a promise that they will eat from the tree of life. To Smyrna, to he who overcomes, they shall not be hurt by the second death. To Pergamos, to him who overcomes, will be given some of the hidden manna to eat. To Thyatira, to he that overcomes, "AND KEEPS MY WORKS UNTIL THE END", to him will be given power over the nations. To Sardis, those who overcome will be clothed in white garments, and their name will not be blotted out from the Lambs book of life. That He, the Lamb will confess their name before the Father and before His angels.

This promise alone carries a warning, in the respect that, Jesus spoke elsewhere, that their will be many who call His name that He will tell to get away from Him for He does not know them.

Philadelphia, to those who overcome, will be given a pillar, in the temple of God, and he shall go out no more. These are the new priests of the new priesthood, the sons of Zadok, those after the order of Melchizadek. On these will be written the name of God and the name of the city, the New Jerusalem, and Jesus' new name will be written on them. To understand these scriptures more, Leviticus and the priesthood will explain them better, as references to the priesthood of Zadok, Ezekiel 44:15-31.

These passages in Ezekiel, regarding the priesthood of Zadok is that which the Lord as called me to. When He had me declare to the heavens, 6 years ago, that I was a daughter of Zadok, I had no idea who Zadok was. I had never heard of Him. He has since taught me much about this priesthood. The marriage supper of the lamb is the consecration of this priesthood.

Boy, will that one cause a stir!

To Laodiceans, these are the ones who are counseled to buy from the Lord, gold refined in the fire, that they may be rich. This speaks of the purifying that is being offered in this hour. It is not forced on us in this hour, as it will be in the next, but we can choose, for our greater glory, to buy such gold. What do we buy it with? Our life of course!

These also are called to be clothed, that the shame of their nakedness may not be revealed. This is the reference to that which was lost in Eden. Here is the promise of restoration. The garments also speak of the wedding garments. The robe of righteousness, and the cloak of humility. Also, anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. The body, even in this hour is still so terribly blind to truth.

Listen to Jesus' next words, "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. TO HIM WHO OVERCOMES, I WILL GRANT TO SIT WITH ME ON MY THRONE AS I ALSO OVERCAME AND SAT DOWN WITH MY FATHER ON HIS THRONE."

Here lies the key to understanding what is meant by being an overcomer. It is not simply only accepting Jesus. I in no way belittle what Jesus did. But if He wills that He requires more of us then so be it. Jesus overcame the forces of evil in His life. He also, with every breath He took, held the flesh in captivity, and this is the enemy which we must overcome. It is the flesh which is the root of all sin and evil. Satan cannot make us do anything. He can only tempt us to disobey God. It is when we give into the flesh that we stumble.

The heart of man is wicked, simply because it belongs to the clutches of the evil one. Jesus indwells the believer when the temple has been cleansed and dedicated to Him. He will not reside in a temple which is not consecrated.

Their is much left to be said, but I feel to leave you with this alone, and the rest for another time.

Jay,
I thought you said in one of your discussions that you wanted to hear some things about the Jezebel spirit(?) If so, I think the Lord showed me something. please tell me your impressions. In His service,
Lori Thomas

Vision:

I saw a person in a box. Walls all around kept the person bound. They were in a prison cell. Then I saw another person surrounded by a circle that went around and around. On the outside of the circle were beams of light, flowing outward from the person, through the circle and out. Then I saw a body of water- it was a very swift moving.

Interpretation:

The first person who was in the prison represents the prophetic voice that is unable to find release. The second person represented what God intended the prophetic voice to be- free, and able to find release through Him as He surrounds, protects and filters. The release of the truly prophetic voice is powerful and should flow freely like the river.

There are many that are imprisoned by fear of man and/or intimidation by a spirit of Jezebel.

I kept hearing the word control and I began to write what came to mind. This is what I believe the Lord was telling me.

Control says, "I can't trust you to do the right thing, so I will make up the rules and you will do it my way. It's my way or nothing. Control comes when one is insecure, hurt, and untrusting. No one else can have a voice about it. Control manipulates others to feel guilty and fearful of no doing it "right", or not having done it "right." Control is witchcraft and deadly when it comes to the moving of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God is quenched when control enters the picture because the Spirit is the One who is to control and be in control. Being led by the flesh is a form of control because it is contrary to being led by the Spirit. Something is either Holy Spirit controlled or it's not. PERIOD! Anything not Spirit controlled is controlled from the wrong source- either self or flesh, or demonically (or both).

I believe that the Lord is calling His people to stand against the Jezebel spirit. Control is one of many effects of that spirit. We need to break free from this and allow the voice of God in us to be released and constantly flowing!

Lori

The Jezebel question is generating a lot of interest in other groups. It seems to be the topic of the hour. There have been a few responses to it from us but listen to what one "respected?" preacher has to say about it. He says that Jezebel are the women in the church that speak out. This would include women prophets that usurp authority over a man with a word from the Lord and those with the teaching gift. I have heard of others calling women Jezebel for one reason or another but to think that way in these days is just too incredible except I heard it myself, and from someone who I had trusted for prophetic words.

Paul teaches about women speaking in the church and I think it was misunderstood. The word for women is the same greek word for wife and I believe that it has to do with the authority that a husband has but what do you think of a women prophet or a teacher in the church, is she really a Jezebel?

I think that Jezebel has a political significance.

Jay

Under the topic of Jezebel I think we would really be restricting God's use of words by assuming that the word Jezebel is to be a gender based application only. That only women who exhibit traits of unholiness would fall into this category. All of God's Word needs to be applied to the Spirit as well as the intent of His purpose of usage.

In Isaiah 66:7-13 we read how Zion travailed and brought forth her children. How God would bring forth a new thing, a new birth through Jerusalem. God uses many feminine qualities in describing how His people would be taken care of and how He would use them to bring forth that which he purposed to bring forth. Isaiah 66:8 "for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Isaiah 66:11 "and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations." Isaiah 66:12 "Then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees." All feminine words used in describing a truth, the reality of a situation, and a spirit of purpose. A spiritual application is being made here. In these passages God is obviously talking about a specific group of people. The new thing, the promise of God, the birthing that He would bring forth would be done through a group of people, male and female. To say that it was only the females who were to bring forth His glory would be limiting the power of God.

If we were to understand that God's word is then Spirit and truth then the same reasoning needs to be applied to the word Jezebel. The Spirit, the creative nature of this word, represent people who have bedded themselves to the darkness of this world, to the worlds system and not God's. This word applies to a group of people, not limited to gender. Not only do they wish to be wedded to the ruler of this world, the devil, and commit fornication, become a harlot in God's sight, but they desire to bring many with them. In Rev. 2:20 God is angry because the church has allowed this destructive spirit - to seduce - to bring others into this false relationship. To be in the church (God's spirit and truth) but to be a false representative of who God is.

In Revelation 2:20 God is not only angry that they have taken a position of becoming like a harlot in His presence but are leading others to eat things sacrificed unto idols. So not only do they put another god before Him, idols, breaking the first commandment, but they allow themselves to further destroy their relationship with God by eating things sacrificed (having even less power because it is only a sacrificed substance) unto idols. So they are turning away from the real power of God, and making a mockery of who God is. They further insult God and His power when they eat things sacrificed upon an idol that has no power at all, only an illusion of power, only a false resemblance of power.

I won't say who belongs to God and who doesn't because it is too destructive for me personally. But I think when you read these passages that it should sound an alarm in your spirit to make sure that everything you do is for the glory of God. And it is helping others know the reality and truth of who He is. That is going in the right direction of representing God's love for His people.

Blessings,
Arlette

I agree with what Arlette is saying here in that it is not gender specific. I really do believe that Jezebel is a type that shows up in today's relationship with the church to the world. I remember hearing things years ago like calling a woman Jezebel because she wears make-up and such nonsense, but these are misapplications. When Jezebel painted her face to make herself more attractive it suggests to me a type of evil that is all made up to look attractive to those that are under her spell. I see the Jezebel spirit to be a type of delusion that is given to the church so that they might not recognize the Babylonian captivity that they are in. For example, the fornication that she has seduced us into would be the mixture of the church and worldly political idolatry toward the image of the beast. If you understand that I am totally turned off by the Christian right and their pretense of proper Christian truth, you have an idea where I am coming from. This is much more of a balanced approach to the world situation today and what Elijah would be fighting against than merely a women doing anything in authority over a man.

I agree, Jay, that the idea of Jezebel has a political significance. Obviously, the political has to do with power (the kind she wielded over her husband and her husband's kingdom), and power, ultimately, has to do with the flesh.

Power, like the flesh, is - of itself - a great "evil." A way of understanding this would be to consider the greatest expression of power we know in the world, the detonation of a nuclear bomb, and compare it to a nuclear generator. The difference in the latter is that the power is contained - regulated. In the former, the power is entirely without restraint.

Politics, I think you'll agree, seeks also to regulate power.

Where power is concerned with the inter-personal, between men and women, I think there is no question where the power lies. A husband, if he is not completely deceived, will acknowledge that he is entirely without power where his wife is concerned. Nonetheless, if the scripture is to be believed, it falls to the husband to "rule," i.e. to regulate, that power. Yet, how can that power be regulated? Men, in their frightened reaction to such power in women, have oftentimes resorted to violence. The question is, can power be regulated with power? Can a nuclear detonation be constrained with another nuclear detonation? What should Ahab have done to restrain Jezebel, whose desire was for her husband, from pulling out all the stops to secure for him Naboth's property which he coveted? What if, in regulating himself, he hadn't expressed his covetous, fleshly desire for Naboth's vineyard to his helpmeet?

Clearly, in the inter-personal sense, we may see Jezebel as an archetype for women whose "husbands" have failed to regulate themselves. Might this also extend to the political sense?

Now, perhaps, we can revisit Paul's command that women keep silent in the church.

Tentpeg

Thanks Tentpeg(?),

The more I think about it, the more I see Jesus as the husband and Jezebel as the Christian church. Not the bride of Christ, mind you, the one that is holy and blameless but the one that has prostituted herself into the harlot bride and mixed herself up with the affairs of the world. There is a faction in the Christian church that has set herself up as the true purveyors of the gospel that is the evil fleshly power that you speak of here. We must come to the irrefutable conclusion that as the remnant, we are not subject to this power. The Elijah spirit that is taking on the Jezebel spirit is coming forth with another power, that of the "Spirit saith the Lord" kind of power that will knock Jezebel out of her exalted perch and bring her down to the level that she is destined to fall to, along with Babylon.

Jay

Jay,
I have recently responded to your website and decided to go through your archives of discussion topics as you suggested. The first archive was related to the issue of the "Man Child" shown to John in the middle of the book of Revelation 12: 1-17.

There were three suggested theories of who the "Man Child" represents. the first was Jesus, the second was Elijah, and the third a corporate Jesus (may this never be).

The only possible answer is Jesus. There are many factors that point this out & I will try to explain these as briefly as possible The book of Revelation is split into different sections. The first chapter Christ reveals Himself to John. The next two chapters deal with the Church and end with it being called out by Christ (this is displayed when John is removed from the earth and is transported to heaven to bear witness to the next events). During chapters 4 and 5 the church will be cleansed & believers will be judged for their works in Christ. This is where the hey & stubble will be burned up and our works in Christ will remain and rewarded to us. Once we are prepared we will be married to Christ.

Chapters 6 & 11 are dealing with God's wrath poured out onto Israel and have nothing to do with the Church. This is the time of Jacob's trouble or the Tribulation and the Church has already been removed (for why would Christ let the Bride suffer through His wrath)

Chapters 12 is where we find our subject, the "Man Child". What really should be the issue of discussion is not who is the "Man Child", but who is the "Sun-Clothed Woman". From here out I am going to let Clarence Larkin explain it.

Middle of the Week (Tribulation) Rev 12: 1-17

In the "Middle of the Week" two "Wonders" shall appear in Heaven. They are symbols of something. The first will be a "Sun-Clothed Woman."

This "Woman is neither the Virgin Mary, nor the Church, she is Israel. We have only to be reminded of Joseph's Dream of the "Sun" and "Moon," and the "Eleven Stars" (Gen 37:9), to see that this "Sun Clothed Woman," with the "Moon" under her feet and upon her head a crown of "Twelve Stars," is Jewish in Character. Joseph was the twelfth star. Israel is time and again compared to a "married" woman in the Old Testament, but the Church is a "Virgin," and only an "espoused virgin" at that (2 Cor. 11:2). This "Woman" is described as being "with child" and "travailing to be delivered." When was the Church in such a condition? Paul says of Israel, "Of whom as concerning the flesh Christ Came.(Rom. 9:4-5). And Israel looked forward to the time when she could say-- "Unto us a Child is Born, unto us a Son is given (Isa. 9:6-7). But before that could happen Israel had to pass through many sore afflictions and judgments. These were her "Travail Time."

As the result of her "Travail" the Woman brought forth a "Man-Child" who was to rule the nations with a "Rod of Iron." There can be no questions as to who is meant by the "Man-Child." The 2nd Psalm settles that. He is Christ, who at His Ascension was caught up and seated on His Father's Throne.

After her child is delivered the Woman "flees into the Wilderness" where she hath a place prepared of God, and where she is fed for 1260 days. Here is where many people make a mistake. They overlook the fact that between the "fifth" and "sixth" verses of this chapter the present "Church Period" comes in. This is the"gap" between the "Sixty-ninth" and the "Seventy Weeks" of Daniel's dream of "Seventy Weeks". John jumps over this "gap," from the Ascension of Christ to the casting out of Satan, because he is not dealing in these Tribulation chapters with the Church but with Israel, and wishes to continue her history without a break. Here is further evidence that the "Woman" is not the Church or the Virgin Mary, for she does not flee into Egypt, but into the Wilderness, neither does she flee "with" her child, for that was caught up to the Throne of God; neither does she flee for her child's "protection," but for her own.

The second "Wonder" that will appear in Heaven will be a "Great Red Dragon." We are not left in doubt as to who is meant, for in verse 9 he is called that "Old Serpent," "The Devil," and "Satan." His color is "red," the color of "blood," for he was a murderer from the beginning (John 8:44). The "Stars of Heaven" attached to his "tail" reveal the fact that Satan will lead astray a third of the Angels, for the Angels are spoken of as "Stars" in the Old Testament (Job 38:7). They will be cast to the earth with him. The casting out of the Dragon is described in verses 7-12. His expulsion will start a War in Heaven.

That the Dragon has not yet been cast out of Heaven is clear. He had access to God in the days of Job, 2000 years before Christ (Job 1:1, 2:8). He tried to destroy the "Man-Child" (Christ) at the hand of Herod when He was born (Matt. 2:16-18). He was at liberty to tempt Christ in the Wilderness, and to sift Peter. He is today the "Prince of the Powers of the Air" (Eph. 2:2) and the "God of this World" (age) (2 Cor. 4:14). When the "Dragon" is cast out of the Heavenlies there will be great rejoicing in Heaven because the "Accuser" of Christ's "Brethren" (the Jews) is cast down, but there will be "woe" for the "inhabitants of the earth," for the "Dragon" will have but a "short time" (3 1/2 years) to vent his wrath on the inhabitants of the earth before he is chained and cast into the Bottomless Pit.

When the "Dragon" is cast out, knowing that his defeat has been brought about by the elevation of the "Man-Child" to the place of power, he will concentrate his hatred and malice on the "Woman" (Israel) who gave Him birth. To the "Woman" will be given the "wings of a great eagle," that she may fly into the "Wilderness," into "her place," where she shall be nourished for a "Time, Times, and Half a Time," or 3 1/2 years. This takes us back to the flight of Israel from Egypt, of which God said-- "Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on 'Eagle's Wings,' and brought you unto myself." (Ex. 19:4) As the "Woman" and the "Dragon" are symbols, so are the "Eagle's Wings." They speak of the rapid and safe flight of the Woman (Israel) into the "Wilderness," where she shall be safely kept and nourished for 3 1/2 years until the "Dragon" is bound.

It was also stated that the "Man-Child" was related to Revelation when Christ is speaking to the Church of Thyatira. This again is incorrect if you believe in the theory that the Church will be raptured before the Tribulation. The seven Churches of Revelation were chosen to represent the ages the church will go through (the struggles & affliction & tribulation & changes that the Church will experience until it finally fails & becomes luke warm, neither hot nor cold). We are in the time of the final church age and because of the Church's failure, we will be called out & Christ will again be dealing with nations through His chosen elect. This elect are 144,000 Jews who will be sealed and protected from the wrath of the "Dragon". Christ Himself will provided nourishment to this sealed number & through them, great numbers will be converted.

I believe this to be the truth and I would appreciate any response or further discussion.

Jim Sturgill

============================================

Hi James,

This seems well thought out. I have never heard of the Clarence Larkin that you speak of. I would appreciate where you get the pre-trib rapture idea from. I have searched all over the Bible and cannot find anything but a mid or end trib taking away. Not that it really matters to me much, I have too much to do than debate over such things any more but all I find many pre-trib theories are misapplication of scripture. Another thing is that the 144,000 are Jews, I have heard this before but you must have already read that I have been taught in the bible that the Jews come from the tribe of Judah, not all twelve and that the ten lost tribes cannot possibly be Jewish. It is really hard for me to accept that Judah could be from all twelve tribes except possibly include Benjamin and the Levites, which were of the nation of Judah before the dispersion. Where did you get that information from? I also do not believe that Jesus can have a man-child out of wedlock, so I did get a different conclusion as to us being His bride.

What really matters are that what we think upon these things are not important, what is important is God's interpretation and whatever we think one way or another is not as important as the fact that God's will is going to come to pass exactly as He brings it about and He wants to use us regardless of any consensus that we may have or to any correctness as to His mysteries.

I should add that I really appreciate this response to the discussion on end-times. This is the second time that Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy has been mentioned. I studied that many years ago, I had known about it even before I went to Bible College and proved to be thought of as an authority when I was called upon to explain it in one of my classes instead of the professor. I was not an authority but Bible prophecy was one of my main interests and because I was a pre-millennialist and the school taught a-millennialism, I had brought a fresh approach. I have noticed that whenever this prophecy of Daniel is mentioned, or by whom, it seems to produce similar conclusions.

Jay

In regards to your statement, "I would like to hear more insights on the spirit of Jezebel and the man of sin," here is something to consider on the man of sin.

In understanding the man of sin, we must allow scripture to interpret scripture. Through many of my years I believed this man would be a Pope of Rome, but I seek to plainly set forth through the scripture the truth concerning this man. To understand this man, we must see that God sees all men in two men. What I mean is defined in I Corinthians 15.

1 Cor 15:45-47 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

Here we see all mankind is summed up in two men. Man here speaks of a kind of man. The first man is of the earth earthy, or fleshly. God created Adam of the earth, and breathed in him the breathe of life and he became a living soul. All of his life was according to the earth, and through him came sin, as declared in Romans 5. So he, and all of his seed is the man of sin, making the man of sin nothing other than the natural or carnal man. And the carnal man is in the temple of God, declaring himself to be God. Isn't that what Eve was deceived by in the Garden, and what Adam ate of. The serpent said if you eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you would be like God knowing good and evil.

Rom 5:12 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Now let us define the temple of God by the scripture. First the Old Testament view of God's temple is set forth in Moses, Solomon, and again the rebuilding of the temple by the Jews. But the new testament temple is none other that the body of Christ. II Samuel 7:1-5 is a good example of the old testament temple, but we must come and see what that temple was speaking of. It was speaking of the temple that would be raised up in the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Isaiah declared that God doesn't dwell in that made of man's hands in Isaiah 66. Even Solomon realized that the temple that was built by him could not contain the fullness of God. All of that was speaking of the building that would not be made with hands.

16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise. 17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. 18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? 19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? 21 But he spake of the temple of his body.

Eph 2:13-22 "20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit."

2 Cor 6:16 "16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people."

Through the scripture we can see that the man of sin is at work in all creation. Yes he could very easily stand up a man in the earth, and declare himself to be some great thing, but this man has been since Adam's fall. He was the man of sin. This man is taken away at the cross, and is taken out of the believer's heart at the appearing or revelation of Jesus Christ.

Rom 6:3-11 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Paul is dealing with believers who do not know or understand what Jesus accomplished in his death, burial and resurrection. The old man is destroyed, and a new man comes forth. We that are believers are no longer regarded by the Father as an old man, but a new man in Christ.

This is what Jesus was teaching to Nicodemus in John 3: 1-12, when he told him he must be born again. He was speaking of a new creation. A creation that is born of the seed of God, and this creation lives forever. See in John 3 Jesus says that which is flesh is flesh, and that which is spirit is spirit. This is speaking of the two creations set forth in first Corinthians 15. The first man is of the earth earthy. The second man is the Lord from heaven. Every one of us when we were born of our mother and father were born in the earth creation. However, when Jesus died he put that creation to death, and those which come to life, live as a new creation in Christ. This creation is born of God, and Christ himself is the life. We must come to see or find ourselves in Christ, as Paul declared in Philippians 3, that I may be found in him.

I pray that this will shed some light on the man of sin.

Brother Wayne

Foundations

I realized finally that many are called but few are chosen, I didn't realize the sacrifice it would take to get there. I do know that there will be a reason why the difference between those "called" and those "chosen", I also believe these items will be on that list.

  1. leading people to Jesus, not to man
  2. how to find G-d's love, and how to let it shine from your own heart
  3. learning to take up your cross each day
  4. having praise and thanksgiving in your mouth all day
  5. to look at people through the eyes of Jesus
  6. to actually love others and care about them beyond our front door step
  7. to pray to the L-rd to eliminate pride (let Him work on it).
  8. learning to listen to the still small voice (Jesus)
  9. How to subdue the flesh

We all need the above more than anything else right now, this is part of why many build on the wrong foundation, they don't have His love, they only feel HIS love for them, until they learn to show His sacrificial love, they won't get off of the ground, they will be working for the wrong master and not even realize it. If you write, realize that many will see what is written, I would encourage people to include topics that bring others closer to the L-rd as this ministry is what this is all really about, it is what is most important to the L-rd. The gifts are meant to help with this task. All foundations should be based on G-d's true love, then they will stand the test.
