Cities of Gold
Deborah Voetberg
In prayer the Lord opened a vision where I saw cities of gold being raised
up in neighborhoods where we would least likely think the Lord would
establish a mighty work! These were dark areas where angels would fear to
tread. The cities were as one building with many sections (pillars) raising
up as one in the midst of the darkness and shining with a gold I've only
seen in connection with heaven. Gold that appears transparent. ( Rev
21:18. " The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure
gold, like clear glass." & Rev 21:21. And the street of the city was pure
gold, like transparent glass.)
In these cities people would walk into the borders of the city and the
purity of the city would wash away any darkness in their lives. They would
be saved, healed and delivered by the pure presence of the Lord. ( Rev
21:27.." But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or
causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's
Book of Life.")
The cities were filled with the goodness and mercy of the Lord and I saw
workers with t-shirts, that had on the front in the left hand corner above
their heart, the logos of the different ministries operating in the city and
on the back was Psalm23:6." Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all
the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever."
He later showed me that the pillars that I saw as different parts of the
city were the different ministries that had come together to work as one, in
unity, having overcome division and strife. ( Rev 3:12." He who overcomes,
I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no
more. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of
My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I
will write on him My new name.")
The cities were a copy of the city of gold in heaven. Not in dimension but
in the spirit and the presence of the Lord. The cities had a light that was
alive, breathing and more beautiful than I have ever seen. Then the Lord
took me and showed me the Light in heaven. ( Rev 21:23." The city had no
need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God
illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.")
The Lord started to speak of Moses and how He had shown him the copy of the
tabernacle for His presence to dwell with Israel. Then of Ezekiel and the
temple the Lord showed him in detail. A temple full of purity and spiritual
life. These were copies of what exists in heaven. So, these cities were a
copy ( in spirit ) of the temple that is the Lord's dwelling place, and were
sustained through prayer and worship as the healing waters flowed from the
houses of prayer established in each city. ( Rev 22:1." And he showed me a
pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of
God and of the Lamb." )
Then the Lord reminded me that every spirit is subject to Him, and He was
going to start to bare His Holy Arm in the territories that His people have
invited His Holy Spirit to rule and reign. That no longer will we be
distracted by the enemy but be full of confidence in the peace and
understanding that every spirit is subject to the Lord and must bow to His
plans and word where ever His people have honored His name and surrendered
all authority unto Him. He had come to show Himself strong on their behalf
for His name's sake.
The name that the Lord gave Ezekiel for the new city in chapter 48:35 is.
" The Lord is there." The Lord is coming to those territories where His
children have humbled themselves and prayed and welcomed His Holy Spirit to
have His way in their city. He, by His Spirit, is coming to build Cities of
Gold.where the world will cry out..." The Lord is there!"

The Need For Wisdom
Stephen Hanson
"Does not wisdom cry aloud in the streets. Have you not heard its voice
echoed throughout the streets? It cries aloud to both the young and to the
old. Without Me you would come to ruin. I was established long before the
earth was formed. I delight in those who delight in Me. I have a field
bright and strong. It is plowed and it is ready. Everything is set and
ready to be done."
(The Lord showed me a scene where there were several people who were
planting a field. There were perhaps 3-4 people who had seeds in their
hands and they were tossing them into the ground for planting. I watched as
several of these "seeds" fell into the rows where they were to be planted
and sown. One of them had a pitcher and was tossing several of the seeds
into one of the rows. Then yet another one, took a pitcher of water and was
watering the seeds after they had been sown into the ground.)
The Lord then said:
"I the Lord have placed the seeds of wisdom in your hearts. It is a seed
that is sown at this time. I have given you much of my wisdom at this time.
It is important that it is watered well and nourished there in your hearts."
(This time the Lord showed me that the seeds had grown up and were now a
type of ivy. The vines of this ivy had wound themselves around wooden
stakes and had grown to a good size. I also noticed however, that there was
a type of weed at the base of this ivy. They had broad leaves and were
growing thickly at the base. Again the Lord now showed me several dark
colored grapes. They were gathered together into clumps and were in the
process of being taken to be made into wine. I then noticed that some of
this wine was being poured into a glass. The person tasting this wine
seemed to be very pleased with its aroma and flavor. It was a very good
bouquet, and had the tint of a subtle rose color to it. I could almost
taste the flavor of it as it passed the lips of the one who was drinking it.
The glass was held high and I could see the crystal clarity of it as the
light passed through it revealing all the various hues and colors of the
glass and the wine. I then saw another person who was drinking wine but
this one was guzzling it. It was in a different type of crude container and
the wine was being spilt down his or her chin and face as it was being
drunk. It obviously wasn't being "savored.")
"My dear people, this is an example of my wisdom. Some would savor it.
Others would attempt to "use it all up." Drink of it, and savor its flavor.
You need this wine of my wisdom at this time. It will guard you against
the evil that is to come. It will strengthen you for the days that lie
ahead. It will keep you in a safe place. It will guard your lips from fo
lly. Take a draught of my wisdom. Then you will know what is the right
way to go."

A New Generation
Ras Robinson
I have determined that you
will be part of the end-time generation in these last days.
Release your mind to Me. Allow Jesus' mind to be in you,
thinking. His heart to be in you, beating. His voice to be in
you speaking. His love in you, loving. As you surrender to His
allness, you will find more and more that your mind is a
battlefield of thoughts. Determine daily that your thoughts
will be His thoughts. You have the mind of Christ already in
you because you have Christ -- Who is your wisdom,
righteousness, sanctification and redemption. You got all of
Christ when you received Him. Therefore, set your mind on
things above, not on things that are on earth. Harness your
mind through meditation on My word day and night. I am raising
up a new generation who will have hearts of obedience and who
will speak clearly My word with faith and power.
1 Corinthians 1:30-31 "But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus,
who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and
sanctification, and redemption, that, just as it is written,
'LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD."

The Mountain of Proclamation!
Debra Westbrook
There is emerging from obscurity a company of prophets infused with divine love and empowered
by passion.
The mountain of the Lord is a platform of prophetic proclamation! It is raised high above the
thoughts and wisdom of man, beyond the influence of denominational mindsets and attitudes, and
out of the grasp of the doctrines of men. Those who rise to this place of proclamation will be given
this platform by God - they will ascend into this arena of prophetic proclamation for God has
observed the purity of their hearts before Him, the clarity of their vision, and the cleanliness of their
character. (Psalm 24:3-4)
Those whom God will raise up and entrust with words of power in prophetic proclamation will extol
His faithfulness, proclaim His greatness, and marvel in His majesty. Their words will bring forth a
renewed focus on the greatness of their King. He will increase as they will decrease as they proclaim
with a purity of speech. Those called to proclaim from the heights will be speaking forth a Kingdom
perspective of that which they are viewing from this position of elevation.
To be elevated to this place of prophetic perspective, one will be dead to self-interests and hidden
agendas. For this will not be a place to extol the virtues of their prophetic position or placement for
God will resist those who dwell in pride and arrogance. God will entrust His proclamations sounding
forth loud and clear, to those with broken spirits and contrite hearts.
Our of their mouths will flow words of power and authority to change the spiritual atmosphere over a
sleeping giant called the church. Their voices will sound forth with strength and conviction. This
company of prophets waiting in the wings, ready for release, will arise with the word of God in their
mouth, leveling anything that stands in opposition to their King! As God's words flow forth from
them, mountains will be brought down, crooked places will be made straight, and rough places will
be made smooth. (Isaiah 40:3-4) A forerunner anointing will be released to make a highway fit for a
King!
An explosion of fire will flow forth from the inner most parts of their beings. Many have been waiting,
tried and tested, but the time is release is at hand.
These prophetic proclaimers, being tempered by divine love, can't be bought by man, because they
know that they have been purchased by God, so will walk in a fear of God, not man.
For God would say, quite simply, to His proclaimers,
"I have fashioned and I have formed you and I have called you by name. You are mine. Sound forth
this day a message of triumph for there is a lamb slain before the foundation of the world. There is a
God who reigns in absolute authority and power in the lives of His people!"

The High Cost of Loving God
Bryan Hupperts
Veronica Bowers, known as Roni to her friends, along with her husband
Jim, and their two children, 6 year old Cory and 7 month Charity,
were serving as missionaries to Peru with the Association of Baptists
for World Evangelism. Their Cessna 185 was mistaken as a drug
smuggling plane by Peruvian authorities and was gunned out of the
sky. Veronica and her daughter were killed by gunfire before they
crash landed on the Amazon.
The pilot Kevin Donaldson was shot in the leg and lost an estimated 3
liters of blood before finally being rescued. He was moments from
death. Reports say that after the crash Jim Bowers kept Donaldson
alive using his missionary medical training while managing to keep
the bodies of both his wife and daughter from being swept away by the
river.
Veronica "Roni" Bowers was 35 years old. She left behind a
husband and son, and some 150 Baptist churches that she gave her life
to help plant, nurture, and grow. She and her baby Charity are absent
from the body, and now present with the Lord. They fought the good
fight, and finished the race, dying obscenely young.
Such incidents shake people of faith to the core. In all things we
are called to be Overcomers, but perverted Christian pop culture has
warped what it means to be an Overcomer in Christ. Is an Overcomer
someone who is never poor, or sick, or never in material need? The
sacrificial lives of the Apostles and the early church testify such a
message is a perversion of the real Gospel. So what is an Overcomer?
In the Book of Revelation, there are 8 specific promises given to
those who "Overcome."
· Revelation 2:7 "To him who overcomes I will give to eat from
the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God."
· Revelation 2:11 "He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the
second death."`
· Revelation 2:17 "To him who overcomes I will give some of
the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on
the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who
receives it."
· Revelation 2:26 "And he who overcomes, and keeps My works
until the end, to him I will give power over the nations."
· Revelation 3:5 "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white
garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but
I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels."
· Revelation 3:12 "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar
in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will
write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My
God… And I will write on him My new name."
· Revelation 3:21 "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit
with Me on My throne."
· Revelation 21:7 "He who overcomes shall inherit all things,
and I will be his God and he shall be My son."
In all of the promises made to those who are called Overcomers,
nothing is mentioned about having or not having wealth, about being
well or sick, about being happy of depressed. The definition of an
Overcomer is found in 1 John 5:5, "Who is he who overcomes the
world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?"
Jesus is the Overcomer. Being in Him is the victory! John 16:33
states, "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have
peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer,
I have overcome the world." Jesus is portrayed as the Supreme
Overcomer in Revelation 17:14. "These (forces of evil) will make war
with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of
lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called,
chosen, and faithful."
Jim Bowers and his son Cory now know the often-high cost of loving
God in a fallen world. But the cost of not loving God, in eternity,
is greater still. This is the victory that overcomes the world –
even our faith.
May we be found named among those who have, through faith in Christ,
Overcome the world.

Rivers of Forgiveness
Dave Howe
Let forgiveness Flow - Flow as mighty rushing river - Flow as my blood flowed for you my
people.
For forgiveness is as water in a dry and thirsty land.
Flow my people Flow - Flow with the water of forgiveness - Yes let it Flow out to each
other - For forgiveness is the way of life - Is Life - Is Light - Is Love.
I see rivers of water - Rivers of forgiveness flowing out from the people of the Lord -
Bringing life unto the land roundabout them - I see grass - Flowers - Then trees growing
where there was once only dry dusty land.
I see much fruitfulness where ever the waters of forgiveness flows - Yes 70 times 7 do I see
the increase coming - A mighty harvest unto the Lord - Many people being Born Again -
Healed - Set free - Yes rivers of deliverance flowing forth across the land - Flowing unto
the people.
For it is by the Love and forgiveness that you show for each other that all men will be drawn
unto the Lord.
Go - Flow my children Flow.

A Word For God's Prophets and Apostles
Helena Harn
The Lord seems to be impressing on my heart so strongly that there is a
mighty powerful move of His Spirit taking place. That those who know Him are
being put through a sieve to really intensify more of Him and less of us.
The enemy sees this taking place and feels threatened that we are on the
move and are a might and power to reckon with.
God is raising up prophets like never before so His work will be manifested,
spoken and created by the prophetic words and prayers. He is really laying
it heavily on those whom He has called into the realm as prophets and
apostles. There is such a cry of His heart going forth to His children that
it is a heart rending and tears the walls down, the veils are rent, the hopes
and dreams of the flesh are being smashed, but He is not done.
He is purging and purifying everything within each prophet and apostle. He
is calling for a holiness and purity in each one's walk as He has not done
in the past -- for now is the hour now is the time that each of us are being
called into the front lines.
There are many babies joining the ranks but we must learn to designate,
so we are not deterred from the calling of His heart.
He is taking us many times beyond the ranks that He may not only speak
privately to us but that He may tell us tactics that we may lead the army
of soldiers properly. We cannot just willy nilly do this we must do it
the proper way, their lives are in our hands. We must obey our Commander
and Chief to the very minutest detail. He is bringing us through the swamps,
through the muck and mire but, if we obey His voice and give only the
directions He tells us to they have a good chance of surviving -- especially
if they listen and follow.
We are examples and are constantly being watched, studied and analyzed.
Many will not understand us, they simply cannot, it is not the call in
their lives but that is okay. We cannot look and fuss about that. We have
a work to do, we are marching on the enemy and taking back ground that for
too long has been His. We are not going to back down for we are being
taught by Him as to precisely who we are and given a holy backbone and
courage, not mortal courage but supernatural holy courage. We will stand
and fight as He is by our side directing our every move. We will not shirk
the hard work involved for we are no longer fearful little people, but
filled with His might and power we can and are holding our heads us.
He is giving us directions as to how to help each one to fit into their
places with their giftings, talents and fruits for His glory. We are His
holy army and like it or not we are on the front lines and will continue
to be.

The Believer's Authority
Jonas Clark
Not only will the apostolic dimension bring a restoration of the
Priesthood of every believer (all Christians are ministers) it
will also usher in an apostolic understanding and impartation of
spiritual authority to every believer.
God gives every believer spiritual authority. If there is any
subject that I have been personally persecuted for in my ministry
it has been in teaching that God gives every believer spiritual
authority. There was a time in my life when I asked myself if I
could do anything to stop the circumstances that were raging
against my life. I asked others questions, searched the word and
prayed. Many people told me that suffering was the will of God
used to help teach me some kind of lesson. Others thought that
whatever happened to me had to be the will of God. However I
didn't believe it. I knew that God was a good God and the devil
was a bad devil. Then one day I read this verse in the word of
God.
"Behold, I give unto you power (exousia) to tread on serpents and
scorpions, and over all the power (dunamis) of the enemy: and
nothing shall by any means hurt you" (Luke 10:19 KJV).
You can see in the above verse that the word power is actually
two different Greek words. One word for power is exousia, meaning
authority. The other word for power is dunamis, meaning mighty
power. Unfortunately the Bible translators did not help us
understand this verse by translating both words as power. Jesus
is literally saying in this verse, "Behold, I give unto you
authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the
power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." So
what is authority?
Authority is the power or right to give a command!
Serpents and scorpions are symbols of evil spirits of wickedness
and demonic powers. Jesus identifies them as our enemy. An enemy
is one who hates you and desires to hurt you. The Apostle Paul
teaches us too that we have spiritual enemies that we wrestle
against. Moreover when we wrestle against these demonic powers in
the strength of the Lord we always win.
Here again we see the use of two different words for power.
Kratos in the above verse means strength. Paul is saying, "... be
strong in the Lord and in the strength (kratos) of his might."
Here we learn not to rely on our own natural strength but to draw
on the spiritual strength that comes from the Lord.
You cannot battle demonic powers in your flesh and win. Jesus is
the power behind the written word. Once we understand that Jesus
backs us up when we speak his word and act on his word then we
can live a victorious Christian life. We can demonstrate that we
are believers with authority.
Again, authority is the power or right to give a command. Don't
spiritualize this. The ability to exercise your right to command
(exousia) is activated when you understand that it is Christ who
is living in you.
You are not alone! Jesus is not only in you but with you. If you
are born again, you are not on your own. The Holy Spirit, that
same spirit that raised Christ from the dead is living in you. If
you don't understand your authority (exousia) as a believer, then
the priesthood of all believers will mean little to you.
The Apostle Paul draws back the curtain of real life and teaches
us what is happening behind the scenes in the spirit realm.
Moreover, as human beings walking on this earth we can exercise
the authority given to us as we live out our daily lives. We do
this by ...
Jesus has given us his mighty dominion power. We are authorized
(exousia) to use his word against all our enemies. We have the right
to command and he will always back us up. Authority belongs to you.
Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me,
the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these
shall he do; because I go unto my Father" (John 14:12 KJV).

The Tale of the Two Beggars
Many years ago in a far off land there was a certain kingdom nestled
in a fertile mountain valley. The peasants fared well, and the kindly
king did not burden the people with high taxes. It was a pleasant
place to dwell, when you considered how the peasants lived in
neighboring kingdoms.
The king, a benevolent soul, wanted to express his appreciation for
his subjects. He decided to have a royal banquet in their honor.
Every citizen of the kingdom was invited. The king's heralds blew
their trumpets and made the proclamation at the palace entrance, in
the market square, at the city gates, wherever people were
gathered. "Hear ye, hear ye. All citizens of this land are invited to
a royal feast Saturday at high noon," the trumpeters cried. "The
royal gates will be open for the guests from noon till one," they
announced.
Excitement filled the air. The ladies and maidens were discussing
what they would wear, and how they could fix their hair. The men and
the boys speculated about what might be served; venison from the
king's own forest, brook trout from the castle moat, or perhaps
chestnut stuffed quail. The announcement of a royal banquet brought
great excitement to everyone.
Days before the feast much activity could be seen through the palace
gates. Servants were everywhere, trimming the castle gardens and
grounds, others were setting up great tables, while others were
hanging colorful banners from tall poles. Smoke could be seen from
the chimneys of the king's cookhouse, and the wonderful aroma of
fresh baked tarts and cakes wafted over the wall. Wagon load after
wagon load of mysteriously covered goods appeared at the palace
gates, and were quickly admitted by the king's guards.
Saturday, the day of the feast, finally arrived. The sky was blue,
dotted with white fleecy clouds. Birds were flying high in the air,
and butterflies were darting here and there. All morning the people
were readying themselves and just before noon large masses of
citizens, dressed in their finest, were milling about the palace
waiting for that moment when the gates would be opened
Meanwhile, the city market place was deserted excepting for two
miserable beggars. One was so blind that he could not see his hand in
front of his face, and the other had a leg so lame that he could not
walk without hopping on his good leg while leaning on someone else's
shoulder. They were both hungry and dirty. The blind man could not
see to find his way to the palace, even though he longed to feast at
the king's banquet. The lame man could see, and even knew the way to
the king's palace, but he could not walk. "How wonderful it would be
if I could just this once dine at the king's party," he thought.
Now the blind man did not like that lame beggar. "At least I look
normal," he thought, "and I don't have that ugly twisted limb that
others tell me he has. At least I can walk. I stay as far away from
him at the market as I can, because, you know, he is my competitor
for the few coins the people might have to give."
The lame man did not like the blind man either. "I can at least see
what is going on around me," he thought. "I'm not 'in the dark' on
everything like he is. I just can't get there, that's all. Beside
that, there are hardly enough coins in this market for one of us, let
alone two. I'll stay on my side, let him stay on his."
Except for the sounds of the sparrows, the market was still. The
blind man stopped crying, "Alms for the poor," because he heard no
one. The lame man stopped begging because he could see nobody was
there.
Then one of them had an idea. It may be that they both had the same
idea at the same time. That doesn't matter now, anyway. Let us say
that it was the lame man who said, "Hey blind man, you know, if we
would work together we could still go to the feast. I think I could
crawl over to you, or if I keep on talking to you, you could walk
toward my voice, and I could tell you if you were about to bump into
something. Then I could lean on your shoulder, you could help me
walk, and I could tell you which way to go. How about it?"
"I'm not going to the palace with a cripple!" said the blind man. "I
still have some pride, you know. That would be embarrassing to be
seen with a man that has to hop, or worse yet, crawl to the food
tables."
Or was it, "I'm not going to the king's banquet with a man that can't
see," said the lame man. "You're likely to get food all over your
face and clothes. That would be disgusting! Yuck! I want no part of
it."
Both became silent. All they could hear were the sparrows squabbling
over a few grains of barley that had been spilled from a crude market
basket the day before.
Both were hungry, very hungry, and realized that alone, neither could
go to the banquet. There was a long silence. "Oh, I really want to
go," each one thought to himself, "But not with him!" There was still
more silence.
Then one of them, and I am not sure which one it was, said, "There is
still time to get to the king's banquet, if we work together. How
about it?"
In the distance the bells of the castle tower struck twice, twelve-
thirty. Could they make it in time?
At first it was difficult, irksomely, vexingly difficult. The lame
man's instructions were not always clear, and he seemed so
heavy. "What if he leads us into a ditch? I could get killed!"
worried the blind man.
"This blind man seems rather frail. Can he hold me up all the way to
the palace? What if he falls? I could be seriously injured!" thought
the lame man.
The bells in the castle tower struck three times, a quarter to one.
Would they make it in time?
Nonetheless they proceeded, slowly but steadily toward the king's
palace.
At one minute to one they passed through the gates, and then heard
the order that the gates were to be shut behind them. Together they
had made the feast in time. It was not too late! They made it!
It was then they heard a voice from the King of Kings who spoke from
heaven. "You have learned to walk with your brother, and accept and
cover each other's weaknesses and limitations. You have learned your
lesson. It is now safe to heal you both. Blind eyes, be opened that
you may see! Lame leg, be healed that you may walk! Walk together
into the feast prepared for you both."
