Mind of Christ
The mind of Christ is the spiritual state inherent in the psyche of each individual believer. It is true that we are created in the image of God and that includes the faculty of the mind, but we also have the mind of Christ. This only applies to those in the spirit according to love, not the flesh.
But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him. But God has revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
The mind of Christ is not the natural mind, it is spiritual. We can say that we are preaching truth but if it is in the flesh and not in the spirit, it is subject to misinterpretation and confusion. Truth must be spoken in love. If you cannot love others but rather accuse them, judge them and condemn them because they do not conform to your truth, it is of the flesh. Now, who is Jesus but love, whose spirit is the accuser of the brethren and judges us and condemns us. Who? If you can only quote scripture in truth but not in love, so did satan. A spirit of contention is of the flesh, those that do not have the mind of Christ can keep on judging and condemning us or they can humble themselves, show the spirit of Jesus and show love for our brothers and sisters, saved or unsaved, enlightened or unenlightened, righteous or unrighteous.
