Aurelian
Aurelian was the Roman emperor in the year 274 and the ninth Christian persecution. Felix, bishop of Rome was the first to die, the same year as Aurelian's advancement to the Roman see. Agapetus, a young gentleman, who sold his estate, and gave the money to the poor, was seized as a Christian, tortured, and then beheaded. These are the only martyrs left upon record during this reign, as it was soon put to stop by the emperor's being murdered by his own domestics, at Byzantium.
