Queen of the South
The people of this world are in that generation now and the Queen of the South will be rising up soon. The Queen of the South in prophecy is involved today in denouncing the rich nations of the north and is typified by what is going on with the exploitation and oppression there against the third world. The counterpart here is the beast of the apocalypse which comes from the North. Those that have taken the mark of the beast or are under the strong delusion cannot see it. The beast is roaring, but since it is also worshipped, it is mistaken for the true God. If we are faithful, the Lord will rebuke him for us.
The land of Israel has always been the center of the earth in prophetic prophecy. The Queen of the south went North from her perspective, Europe to the west, Russian, Germanic and Slavic countries would be of the north with Asia to the East and of course Africa to the South. The modern world now includes the Americas so the world is divided between the northern and southern hemispheres for Bible prophecy.
Justice is always the foundation of peace. In times past there has been a tension regarding peace and justice and the struggle for justice may threaten certain forms of peace. This is where Jesus is coming with a sword to take peace from the earth but it is only a transitory process. The growth of the Kingdom has been a process that occurs historically in liberation, in that, liberation means a greater fulfillment of the human race toward justice. The Queen of the South will rise up to denounce this generation and it will not be a peaceful denunciation. Babylon will be thrown down from her exalted position in violence. It is in this tension that we are to explain the problem of war and our relationship to it. Make no mistake about it, it is in this view of the gospel of the kingdom preached to the poor that will take the peace from the earth to achieve the liberation from the oppressive economic powers.
As we stand up as the Bride of Christ we intercede for the whole world and must rise up to denounce the sins of Babylon. Even now, Babylon the Great does not look so great and those of us that bend the bow must aim these arrows of truth at the heart of her exploitation and avarice. The Queen of the South has been and will continue rising up against this generation. The wealth of Babylon has been stored up in the last days for the poor, so unite, lift up the standard upon her walls and denounce the oppression. Strengthen what remains and be ready, we no longer need to speak in terms of how soon, but act in terms of now. Not only in the economic realm but in the religious as well. "Cut off the sower from Babylon and he that handle the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land." It is time to completely turn ourselves over to the true Jesus and come against the false je$u$ with its hireling preachers who make merchandise out of us. You know that there will be casualties but you also know the war has already been won. Have courage and endure to the end.
Now is the time for denunciation, a time when exciting words are summoning those of like minds to burn the chaff of the final harvest. It is in the Queen of the South rising to condemn this generation by loosing the purse strings of the north and taking from her what she has stolen. Those that are oppressed rise up with stinging rebuke of exploitation, idolatry, tyranny, forbidding to buy and sell, sanctions, embargoes, favored nation status, violence, zero-tolerance, weaponry, avarice, accumulation, usury and the sin of unrighteous mammon. Aim those arrows of truth at the nature of the beast and his Babylonian whore; do not spare them, repay them for their deceitful lawyers, lying politicians and multi-national thieves.
The field of battle is money and it is on the grounds of commerce that Babylon shall be judged, fall swiftly and rise again. The moneymakers of the world will bewail their losses when Babylon is spoiled, but it is not destruction. When she flourishes again it will be a terrible time for the nations, including the people of God. "I sit a queen and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow." Babylon will cling to the spiritual connection of her heritage as the spouse of the Lord, but it is apostasy, the habitation of devils and the hold of every foul spirit. The daughter of Babylon shall be become utterly desolate. "Flee out of the midst of Babylon... Set up the standard." "It shall be wholly desolate... all you that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows... for it is the vengeance of the Lord." "As she has done, so do unto her."
Actually, I have never hear any one else describe the Queen of the South in the way that I have but then I have never seen a prophetic teacher in the five-fold with a background of Liberation Theology either, outside of third world authors. And of course, the Queen of the South is for the generation that comes at judgment time. I feel that the wisdom of Solomon is for the whole world and can be found in the New Israel, under the New Covenant, which is the Christian church during the times of the Gentiles. It is more than the wisdom of Solomon, it is the voice of God in all who are of His spirit. The Queen of the South should condemn the religious leaders of all countries but it is in the hypocrisy of the Northern nations who have replaced the fear of Christ with smug, self sufficient materialism that puts up with the oppression of the third world through a desire to get rich and a worship of mammon. They no longer fear God because they are under a strong delusion and not aware of their sin in thinking that monetary gain is godliness (I Timothy 6:5).
The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. Luke 11:31
