Knowing God

It is arguable that the extent to which we know God is the same extent to which we have allowed Him access, or allowed Him to "know" us.
Knowing God to any degree is a fundamental challenge to what we consist of. If we have any real knowledge at all of who God is, because He is who He is, we are correspondingly made aware of who we are, and the opposites are as simple and as striking and as real as the difference between light and dark.
God is available to us to know at each moment: He is only a short prayer away. Any perceived difficulty in knowing Him is summed up in our resistance to self-knowledge, that we have become partial again, to a greater or lesser degree, to the darkness of which the flesh consists.
Religious arogance and bigotry from whatever source is the result of stagnation and a refusal to pursue a more perfect knowledge of God which would vitally lead to Jesus. However, within Christianity, what has begun in the Spirit, religious bigotry has attempted to finish in the flesh. This can be observed by the example of the tendency of the visible church to build empires, gain power, and pursue comfort, financial blessing and social position. These things are noticeably absent in the signs of real progress in true children of God, who know that the Lord's strength is made perfect in weakness.
Individuals who allow God full access endure shaking and stripping, tearing down of fleshly strongholds, loss of prestige and reputation, and a breaking up of all the flesh consists of. We need make sure we allow this perfect work within us since our suffering is of eternal value.(Rom 8:18; 2Cor.4:17+18)
The religious world and men everywhere need a revelation of Christ through the power and work of the Holy Spirit. How will this be accomplished if in the body of Christ we are still building empires, gaining prestige and resisting the shaking and breaking that results in a more perfect knowledge of God and a demonstration of His power? There is this wonderful secret work which approaches completion in these last days. If we find ourselves leaning towards comfort as it progresses, we need to ask ourselves," What is it that we will unveil to a perishing world -

Anointing

I have entrusted you my church with my anointing. An anointing that overides, overules and overpowers all the works of darkness. My Son was manifested to destroy all the works of the enemy and you my people have been entrusted and empowered with my Holy Ghost to enforce this victory in the world.
Many are anointed but few have regard for this anointing. Those who regard it will know a constant increase. Those who do not hold my anointing dear will never see my will and purpose fulfilled. They will watch from the sidelines. They will criticise, they will tear down. They will never be a part of the great manifestations that are close at hand. But they will border on fearful signs and wonders.
Separate yourselves from such people for they will pull you down and hold you back. If you want to carry this anointing there must be a separation my people. You do not have to deal with such people, leave them to me. I understand their heart and I will reward them accordingly. I will reward them according to their works say's The Lord. You are carriers of my anointing don't be carriers of vengeance for vengeance is mine say's The Lord. Those who criticise my anointed and my anointing will reap their rewards for I am just and Holy.
Part of the manifestations of my Spirit that are to come are fearful signs and wonders greater than in days gone by. You will experience and see signs and wonders beyond your comprehension, like nothing ever seen in church history. But know this, those who treasure my glory and presence shall be carriers of my glory and carriers of my presence, far beyond the measure previously known.
Many will say where is the God of mercy in these manifestations? As I have said I see the heart and I will reward them. Don't trouble yourselves with such matters, they are out of your hands. Keep your hearts and guard what I have given you. For you will give an account for all I have given you when we meet face to face. The greater the anointing the greater the accountability. I will not hold you responsible for someone else but for what I have entrusted to you. Guard it treasure it protect it. Then there will be no limit to the flow of power available to you my church.

Streams From Eden

In a recent word (The Trumpet, November 1, 2001) the Lord said that we, the Church, are entering into a time period in which He is going to teach us to rule over our hearts. If we are going to rule in the midst of our enemies, then we must first rule over our hearts.
He then spoke this word to His church on November 17: "Out of Eden flowed four rivers. Your heart is even like Eden, for it was planted in the likeness of Me. Out of your heart there flows four streams. These streams can bring either life or death to you. They represent the body, the soul, the spirit and the opposition whose name is Satan. The fact of whether you are living according to the dictates of the flesh body or if your battle is in the soul and you desire soul life, soul ministry, soul survival where your desire is to see things in the realm of the soul which will cause you to seek a place of comfort. But if you live in the stream of the flow of the spirit, I can minister to you by the Holy Spirit. Or, you can have open doors allowing the enemy to rule over your life. It is all up to you. It is My good pleasure that you rule from the realm of the spirit. There are four riverheads; there are four options. Because I have given you free will, you get to choose which stream to live in. I would have you live in the stream of the spirit. The flesh brings death, and the soul brings carnality. Satan brings destruction. Choose which stream you will drink from and live in. Free will gives you the option."
In Genesis chapter two the Word tells us that God formed man from the dust of the ground, and then He planted man on a piece of ground called Eden. The word "Eden" means pleasure or delight and represents the good ground of our heart.
Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
The Father gave us life that comes to us through His Son, Jesus Christ, who gave us living water through the Holy Spirit. Jesus said it this way in John 7:37-38 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." This flow of life is the river that comes out of Eden, which is the river of life.
Genesis 2:10 Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads.
Three of these rivers, the Gihon, Hiddekel, and Euphrates represent the streams from Eden, which bring bondage to God's people. These waters run through the land of Cush (Ethiopia and Egypt), Assyria and Babylon. These countries represent places of captivity and bondage to Israel (God's people). In the word that the Lord gave, He likened these three rivers to the bondages of the body, the soul (carnal mind) and the devil.
The Pishon, which means a free-flowing river of increase, represents life in the spirit. This is the stream from Eden (heart) that God would have us to stay in and live from. The Pishon encompasses the whole land of Havilah, which means circle and is representative of eternal life. The circle is complete in Christ, who is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end of the kingdom of God in which we live.
The scriptures tell us that there is gold, bdellium and onyx in the land of Havilah. Gold represents the good ground of a pure heart and life lived in the presence of God. The Ark of the Covenant was overlaid with gold and is symbolic of God's heart towards His people. The onyx stone was found in the breastplate of the priest, which was worn over the heart, and it symbolizes our position with God.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Bdellium is like a resin gum that, when compressed by heat, becomes a jewel.. as when our hearts are purified by fire.
Malachi 3:17 "They shall be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them As a man spares his own son who serves him."
Havilah represents the ground of a pure heart out of which the treasures that God has given us are brought forth.
Luke 6:45 "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
If we live in any one of the other streams from Eden, we will produce evil treasure, that which comes from the flesh, soul and Satan.
We are in a time when the Lord desires to teach us to rule over our hearts. If we allow Him to do this work in us, then we will stay in the river of His Spirit, which is the river of life. And, this is wisdom: "Keep you heart with all vigilance, and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life." (Proverbs 4:23 Amp.)

Do We Really Know the Truth?

Do we really know - Believe the truth.
The reason I believe there is so much division in the church is that we don't truly know the truth in our hearts - We only know the truth in our heads henceforth we fight. If we truly knew the truth in our hearts - We would be one - Our hearts would be one.
Head knowledge puffs us up - Makes us proud - Which makes us think we are better than everybody else around us - That we know more -Know better than others. This makes us jockey for position over each other - I will ascend and be like and so on - You know the story.
I feel so many of our bible colleges just cram the peoples heads with head knowledge - Formulas and worldly management techniques without knowing that they are doing it. And by the way I am not against bible colleges - Not against having knowledge of the Word in the right way - But I have seen friends that are full of faith and the Holy Ghost go to some of these places and come out with their faith damaged - Their personalities changed - Its as if some other spirit has got into them.
For head knowledge is religion - The religion of the Pharisees -Knowing the law but not the spirit?
Heart knowledge is faith and love - Yes its love - Joy and peace in the Holy Ghost - Is having the mind of Christ.
Word.
For whom My Son sets free is free indeed - For where My Spirit truly is - There is liberty. For would have all my people to truly know the truth in their hearts - Not just in their heads. For you shall know the truth -And the truth shall set you free - For I AM The way - THE TRUTH -The light.
Come my people - Let My Spirit mould you into what I would have you be - Yes let My Spirit mould your hearts - Let My Spirit take that hard heart from you my people - You must decrease so that I may increase within you.
For wish to pour more of My Son into you - Pour myself into you my children so that you will be really free - Free to go forth and make disciples of all nations.
For when you are really free in the Son - Rivers of living water will flow from you my people - Yes healing will flow like river into those dry places around you - Salvation will flow like a river.
Know the Lord in your hearts - Be free - Go forth and set those free that sit in darkness. Show them the light of My Son within - Let your light shine before all men - Preach the Word from your hearts then you will see signs following.
For when brothers truly dwell in unity of heart - Then the oil will flow for I will command a blessing.
For you will know the truth and the truth will set you free - To be free in the Lord - Set you free to worship the Lord in spirit and truth - For by truth all will know me.
Let us have the mind of Christ in all things - Inquire of the Lord for he will show you his way - Remember the Lords way is higher than our ways - His thoughts deeper than our thoughts - Now that's far better than having head knowledge.

Lift up your heads, oh ye saints! Lift up your eyes! Lift up your hands and praise your God in heaven. For today - today is the day of restoration. Today is the day of salvation. Today is the day of freedom and liberty for the captives. Lift your eyes from your circumstances and place them upon Me. For I am much bigger than your situation. Lift up your eyes and focus them on Me. Lift up your hands in praise and adoration, and I tell you the mountains before you will crumble. Come to Me and offer Me a sacrifice of praise and see if I will not honor it. Come to Me, all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. I will give you peace. You must focus on Me, not on what is happening around you. For have I not promised that I would supply all your needs? Have I not promised that I would take care of you? Are not all My promises yes and amen? Lift up your eyes and lift up your faith. Believe in the words that I have spoken to you. Believe in the promises that I have given you. Believe and soon you will receive.

Cornelius Connections

As we press into His glory, where we live,move and abide in a place of oneness with God, there comes revelation from the Father to His children. It is inevitable that those who hunger and who seek Him desperately will hear His voice under an open heaven. This is available to all who seek Him for those who seek Him in purity of heart and desperation of soul, shall surely find Him and be found by Him. Prophetic declarations and proclamations will flow with ease from His glory for He longs to speak to and through His children.
This morning as I sought His face, I heard these words: "I am establishing Cornelius connections." This word is based upon Acts 10 - the connection between Peter and Cornelius. In the coming year, God will do what has been impossible for man. Man has sought to network in His own wisdom and in His own way. Man has sought to establish platforms based upon His need for self-recognition and personal advancement. Man is attempting to build what God has not ordained and God will have none of it.
There are divine connections being made by the Spirit, in the Spirit, for His glory. It is within this flow established in the heavenly realm first before it is manifested in the natural, that the Spirit of God shall establish incredible connections between people of one mind and one heart to advance the Kingdom of God. "Look no further in your own wisdom, for I shall connect people for My plans and My purposes in these days and in this hour. What I join together, no man shall put asunder."
God is raising up apostles for this very hour. No one will be able to deny this. But where are they? Hidden in caves, lost in obscurity, and on rooftops, like Peter in Acts 10! They are in a myriad of places, waiting to be pulled forth into the strategies of their God, willing, broken, and obedient to advance the Kingdom through no self-effort, no self-promotion, and no control or manipulation but a pure heart seeking their God.
God will send those like Cornelius to many apostolic leaders. They will not have to seek for places to go to minister to God's people for His ministering angels, sent to those who will inherit salvation, are already at work in the heavenly realm setting up divine connections. They shall appear to those like Cornelius, crying out, in many different places throughout the world, with divine strategy and directions.
Acts 5:3-8 About the ninth hour of the day, he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, "Cornelius!" And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, "What is it, lord?" So he said to him, "Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God." Now send men to Joppa, and send for Simon, whose surname is Peter. "He is lodging with Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea. He will tell you what you must do." And when the angel who spoke to him had departed, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier from among those who waited on him continually. So when he had explained all these things to them, he sent them to Joppa."
The apostolic will be linked supernaturally with those of one heart, like-minded, one in the Spirit before they will be linked with them in the natural. It is essential to understand this for God's strategy. Divine connections are supernaturally established before they manifest in the natural.
Obedience, such as was in the heart of both Peter and Cornelius, (even with some reluctance at first), will bypass and disregard man's traditions, seeking to obey God at no cost to their own reputation or honor. This will, indeed, bear much fruit for the Kingdom of God.
So to those who are trying to work a kingdom system in their own wisdom and using secular methods, calling themselves apostles and prophets, beware for God will not be mocked. He is requiring absolute surrender in this hour to His plans and His purposes to advance and build His kingdom in glory in these days. This will only be accomplished by His Spirit, for the flesh profits nothing. Much can be said but I recommend that you read Acts 10 thoroughly, asking God to reveal Himself to you, for in this chapter there resides a prototype of Apostolic Strategy.
Rest in your God. Take comfort in the fact that no matter where you are, God will surely find you and set you forth into an 'undiscovered country'. He will send you to a people hungry for Him, waiting for an impartation of power and passion. Do you want to be sent by God or sent by man? The choice is yours, but choose carefully, for your destiny hangs in the balance.

Transition

I am firmly convinced and convicted in the Spirit that we are in a great time of transition in the spirit realm and in the
body of Christ. The transition is for the not only the minds of His people but for the hearts of His people. It has
absolutely nothing to do with money or position or power, it has everything to do with Him in us and us in Him.
This is where unity in the body lays... in His Spirit not in our styles or pet doctrines or modes of worship and gathering
or reformation theology or church government or end-times bickering... it is about intimacy with Him in the Spirit.
The whole matter boils down to Jesus the Christ and Son of God being the center of everything but especially for His
people. I am talking about who He is in us and us in Him. Our very identity must begin and end with Christ Jesus. I am not
talking about our ministries and callings and gifts, those are only Him manifesting Himself through His people to the
church and the earth and the heavenlies- this is by His own design and not by ours.
He is dealing with the body of Christ to make her ready for His coming. In some it will be their man-thinking and
traditions. In some it will be their mode and form of worship. In some it will be the meetings and gathering and who is in
charge of the meetings- men or the Holy Spirit. For some it will be about having the truth presented to them about how He
does things in reality. But what ever form His correction takes, this I know to be the absolute truth... He is rocking the
foundations we have laid so that all that is left is Him and by this we know whom we have loved and who loves us. This is
how we are known to be His disciples- that we love one another and do as He did- lay our lives down for Him and for each
other.
So know God is dealing with all of us - rejoice in that and see if our Savior, Lord and King does not manifest Himself as
He is promising.
