Ishmael

Ishmael was the first son of Abraham, the father of the Arabs and Muslims. Ishmael means "God hears." Abraham's inheritance includes both Ishmael and Israel and through Jesus, all the nations of the world. The Arabs believe that Mecca was founded by Adam, and the temple erected by Abraham. With Ishmael, his firstborn, he built the Temple of the Ka'ba at Bekka, or Mecca and instituted the rites of pilgrimage. Its early prosperity they ascribe to Ishmael, who fixed his residence there. It must have been a very ancient city and is probably the Mesha which Moses mentions as inhabited by the posterity of Joktan. Koran - Abraham and Ismail built the Kaba as the house of God, and purified it, to be a center of worship for all the world.
Paul - For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a free woman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the free woman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from mount Sinai, which genders to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. When Hagar was cast out by Sarah, the Lord found Hagar in the wilderness by a fountain and an angel told her to return to her mistress and submit herself under her hands: "And the angel of the Lord said unto her, I will multiply your seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for the multitude. And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, you are with child, and shall bear a son, and shall call his name Ishmael, because the Lord has heard your affliction. And he will be a wild man, and his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him, and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren." The sons of Ishmael became the Arab state in particular and Islam in general, if you know the history of the Ishmaelites at all, you know how this prophecy has been amazingly fulfilled through history.
Isaac and Ishmael were both sons of promise, God told Abraham that "and as for Ishmael, I have heard you: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly, twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation." Abraham loved both of his sons and so did the Lord. The princes of Ishmael are composed of the Islamic countries in the middle east and elsewhere. Around the world there are many sons of Ishmael that will be part of the restoration in the last days. Only one of the many sects will be included however. Those that deny the Holy Ghost will be just like the many infidel Christians that will not be ready when Jesus returns.
